British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

Yeah, I hope it is, but we know how gaijin are

Yeah we probably should, but as long as they are foldered I personally don’t mind that much

Interesting

do we have definitive stuff on the ajax stanag ratings?

It would be worth looking into ASCOD 2 as that is what the Ajax is based off and Ajax is considerably heavier than ASCOD 2

Not that I can find, it’s all sites claiming it. As for spall liners there’s a 15 year old video of the early prototypes that shows a full spall liner layout but someone tried that and it’s been ignored. I’m starting to bet on this thing having atrocious armour.

Well my suggestion was accepted in record time.

Yipee.

Now just to hope the snail is kind and does it xD

Chances are they’re just making what they think is an Ajax.

Seems to have worked. I really do hope they acknowledge the spall liner suggestion next but that feels like a pipedream.

Does the Aus Puma have it’s APS system?

Am I going insane or does this image pretty much confirm the turret is missing a significant amount of its armour?

The Boxer?
It has an APS showing in the in game HUD, but can’t verify it works because Gaijin haven’t put the APS testing area in its Test Drive

But so far as it being the Australian Boxer’s APS, no, because it’s the wrong APS. Gaijin have modelled the whole vehicle based on the CRV demonstrator, not the actual CRV Block 1 or Block 2 that Australia bought and now use.
IRL CRV Block 2 is supposed to be getting Iron Fist instead of the StikeShield Rheinmetall put on the demonstrator. Also it should have a different turret and a bunch of other different fittings on the hull to be an actual CRV Block 2.

Thanks still going to grind it out 😅

Same. It’s a nice vehicle. But after the pigs ear they made of the Gay Archer and Jaguar IS, gaijin seem to have developed quite a track record of modelling event vehicles for Britain, completely incorrectly.

But unlike the other two that were fundamentally not right, all they really need to do to fix this is rename it to reflect that it’s the Boxer LAND 400-P2 prototype, instead of trying to pass it off as a Block 2.
