British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

Yeah. an internal suggestion was submitted like 2 years based upon these photos. So you never know. But they would be great fun.

Would only be 4x SRAAM though I doubt you could run 2+4

Probably not.

So instead of 12.3, we can expect an 11.7 jag for the increased AAM count with greater agility on said AAMs.

Yeah. Old-RAAMs they would have probably been fine. New-RAAMs… could be tricky/ Though GR1A should probably be 10.0/10.3 so might be the buff it needs

It’s going to get the magic treatment, for no good reason at all 😿

and that’s the Hunter F6 and Harrier GR1 removed from my Primary BR change list of vehicles.

If the hunter goes up and the ayit doesn’t im going to have an aneurism

Yeah agreed

Sitll a little instability I think (At least im fairly certain I was above min launch speed)

Yeah definetly something still a bit funky with certain launch windows

It’s still on the dev server, so there’s time to fix it :)

plz gaijin…

Overall it’s better than it was

Delta V is not speed. CAMM-ER is capped at 1,028 m/s in game.

AF/A-18A Late 's BOL should be compatible with any weapon // Gaijin.net // Issues

I get that, but it is change in speed. If the change in speed is over 1500 m/s surely that would mean it can exceed 1500 m/s as it starts at essentially 0 m/s.

It even says “speed after stage 2” as > 1500 m/s

Delta V is change in speed in a vacuum.

Delta-V is a theoretical value describing rocket motor performance. It does not account for the effects of drag etc.

Ah ok then, that makes more sense

I’ve been thinking

Due to other nations getting longer range IIR stuff for helis, what could the UK get? I instantly thought of the IIR Mokopa, as it was tested and made (albeit few). Thing is that it has 8km of range, but is still quick and hard hitting. A stretch would be JAGM-MR. They dont have them, but neither did the AH-64E carry them like it does ingame (although I dont mind that by any means)

Is there any other alternative for this? Whether that be UK made or one of the sub trees?

We could get the wildcat. Sea Venom is IIR, and while intended as an anti-ship missile it is confirmed to have a land attack capability.

The Martlet missiles on the Wildcat are rumoured to have IR guidance, but there isnt a good enough source for that yet, But I reckon they’ll just give us AH-64E with JAGM-MR and SAL Brimstones next major.

Though I also dont think they can sit on MMW for much longer
