In rare cases Gaijin will accept vehicles like this into tech trees, so it makes me somewhat interested in it
i hear you but it is just a demo vehicle at a show, if the k9 was to be added to the British tree it would be via the AS9 Huntsman
It’s actually more likely to be the Indian K9 right now. The “K9 Vajra-T”
nah cant have it, its got the funny pinwheel of banning
“UK doesn’t need it”.
“It’s just an off the shelf USA Tank”
We probs won’t get it at all. But nice to dream though. :/
@Gunjob whilst ppl are pestering you i’ll jump on, my two tank reports recently

Also amazingly it’s been 3 YEARS since 3.7 inch AA gun Ram lacking AA ammunition was reported and there was never any change to the game. I thought perhaps the VT fuze shell would be rejected for balance reasons but I thought they may as well realise the lack of even a timed fuze shell was bizzare.
And a rangefinder for the QF 3.7 Ram aswell… Other equivalents already got rangefinders (VFW, Flak 37 and YaG-10)
Yes very true. Though I think any buff at all would push it to 5.7 but that wouldn’t be the end of the world frankly. What gets and what does not get a rangefinder seems quite varied. In game it seems to mainly be limited to those tanks with integral rangefinders, as well as heavy AA guns seem to get them for free except the Ram 3.7 inch and arguably the Chi-Ha LG (being a 12cm multi role naval gun rather than a dedicated heavy AA gun)
IRL nearly all German tanks you can usually find a picture of them with a the Scherenfernrohr 14 scissor rangefinder though that is a very functionally limited one so I am told (that is to say you’d get better results using the stadiametric functions rather than judging by the focus) and how many were issued I have no clue. But it is integrally fitted on things in game like Nashorn and Dicker max and not counted.
Also IRL wartime British tanks were apparently issued with Infantry Rangefinder No 12 at a rate of one per troop late in the war (so 1 in 4)
Spoiler
wait around 2-3 months i have a feeling there will be some mods being shown the American ones wont have. Iron Fist and the likes
I brought up yesterday about Moog displaying their new Starstreak/Martlet “Reconfigurable Integrated-weapons Platform” at DVD2024, and it appears this is it.
- Ridgeback Platform
- 8 x Starstreak / Martlet
- 1 x 30mm Autocannon
- 7.62mm Machinegun
- Advanced optics included
The Starstreaks look like they might be mockups, bit still cool.
huh, I would have though the RWS would have been towards the front like the german ones.
Looks like the vehicle behind it. you can see its nose to the right of the turret
I just looked at the picture above and saw it was the same boxer behind it lol
i wish we could have javelin but i have a sneaking suspicion we will not see it for quite a while
They’ve been referenced in existing brochures
and the lighter Flexible Mission Platform
If we can have Spike ingame I cant see any reason why Javelins wouldn’t come soon
