So I was messing around with the Jaguar IS on Sunday and noticed when reviewing my replays that the Phimat was actually only dropping a single chaff packet for a drop in available chaff by 2.
Reported it, should be fixed in a future update.

I dont mind either in sim but in air rb they are AWFUL, especially the javelin after the fm changes as now it turns less with the same energy loss as before. They keep making these deltas act like mythical flying trash cans, as the javelin and draken feel awfully similar now, and neither is in a good place.

Yeah… I really want to like the Javelin and it is fairly good in SIm. But yeah, Its Over BRed quite a bit these days

Good old Sea Victim, I have a couple hundred kills in it if I recall. (it was only 50 ahah)
But yeah @GothFemboyHooter the Magic II’s make for some spicy kills from time to time.

Some people actually quite like the Javelin. I was surprised to learn Defyn quite likes Javelin. Personally I cant stand it but i can make the Sea venom and Vampire work.
I just love how it outclimbs most of the things it faces, the missiles are certainly no slouch, adens, despite the positioning and velocity hit like a truck, radar is nice, it looks very cool, and because it’s quite rare to see it in matches, I get the feeling that very few people know how to fight against it.
@Gunjob I see the SRAAM range and all-aspect reports are still sat as acknowledged, do you know if anything’s happening with them?

Also is there an internal report for the Bucc S.2B having Fleet Air Arm No.7 pods with 2-inch RP rockets like the S.2, instead of the RAF Type 155 pods with 68mm SNEBs it should have?

Sea Venom was, iirc, quite the shout in Sim. AI Radar really helped with the finding people bit, which was always my problem, and then it’s a matter of getting Hispanos to work (they won’t)
I never could make myself like it, it feels really fat and boaty, and mistakes aren’t exactly easily forgiven in it (getting tapped is flatspin territory, rivalling only the Scimitar for flatspinability) - I liked it for being able to rock around with 4 missiles and ADENs that more often than not, kinda sort of possibly worked.
Its a pain the arse to use. But the Radar on the Javelin is kinda insane for just finding targets. especially the soviet bombers at high alt.
I imagine this isn’t new, but at the DVD2024 Defence Show official video they showed off a K9A2 Thunder with Union Flags on it. I assume this is just a bid to sell us the K9, but still interesting.
