British Weapon Systems - Technical data and discussion

Does anyone have a link to the post about everything domestic that could replace SA? I had someone tell me SA was needed and the UK had nothing for those roles.

At top tier the Olifants are great. The TTD is ok but not 10.0 worthy. I don’t know anything about the Rooikats but I’m glad they were added.

For me, its just a shame that we got South African stuff instead of native stuff and then the native stuff just… never appeared. Still no Scorpion for example. Also some of it just feels… Redundant. like the 5.0 SA SPAA. Yeah its good, but would a BR6/7 SPAA be better considering we got the Skink, at the same BR, at basically the exact same time

They tried to tell me SA wasn’t the problem. Yet I pointed out this they told me the UK has nothing or what they do have is so bad should ever come to the game.

Gaijin hides behind SA for not adding anything be the same horribly made tank 17 times. Will how said MBT is in War Thunder might as well bring a Mark IV it would work better.

just waiting…

and more on the way

I’ve had the same response before. The explanation, I think it was from Smin, for why we got South Afirca was because britain had nothing, absolutely nothing for every vehicle gaijin added via SA. which is just false.

Kinda why I think they chose the Vickers we recently got. As a “well you wanted a native light tank and we told you they were bad, do you really want anymore?”

Yeah, we got the Challenger 3, :D a high speed tank compared to what we are use to at top tier :P

makes my heart sad

I bought up the Scorpion and Ajax. The argument? HESH and too new.

If HESH wasn’t artificially nerfed it wouldn’t be a problem.

And right it’s not like we got something for 2019. oh, what we did.

Someone else thought I was complaining because they didn’t get Canada. I mean both the ANZACs or Canada would have better choices.
Their response neither of those groups has anything domestic. My dear you just showed you have no idea what you are talking about.
When I pointed out they had stuff it became the “Top tier” and “MBTs are everything” arguments.

I have more I wanted to say but I just realized I started to vent. I didn’t mean to do that to you Morvran. Sorry.

I’ve made it so clear how I hate these arguments. Like sometimes a nation’s strong point is WW2 or not MBTs.

Like I’ve said before I’m not too well versed in the ANZAC stuff I know Australia was able to make their own Sabers but I have no idea about their domestic production after that.

Obviously, I know more about Canada. For modern ground, we have our domestic APC(yes the LAV program is an APC) and on the air side of things post-WW2 everything up to the Voodoo and Hornet was built by Canada. (well expert for Navel jets to use on our Aircraft carriers(yes Canada had some))

Related argument C&P.

This one I find the worst of all. Like I bet we could find enough evidence to give the US a Churchill.
Like if it could fight the enemy of course the military is going to use it.

I have a few more things I’d like to have vented about but I’m already pushing the limits.

The question is if it gets implemented properly or ends up like the Aim-9B FGW2 i.e a carbon copy of the 9L

Hello smart British people. I am curious about if the RAF Phantoms were ever (accidentally or purposefully) fitted with more advanced versions of Skyflash.

Will be a copy of aim 9m just with smoke

I hope so, the FGW.2 should have been a copy of 9E but the snail decided otherwise

Nope
