Good one, but like, the sky in the other ones you sent looks so cinematic.
Like the 2nd F-18 one with perfect vortex and sky almost tricolored :)

Ayo, they buffed Conqueror’s APDS? Its being good to me, its penning even Maus mantlet
god I wish we had Sraam-100 on the tornado F.3 late it would be so funny

Added a blurb to the back of the report stating how the bug isnt as extreme if you manage to reach over 2200 rpm going down a cliff and hit 70kmh before hitting flat ground.
Of course, if anyone sees any CCs (not really seen any use the thing) using it and hitting the bug, feel free to link it on my report with a timestamp as an example of it in action. Also hope that a mod or someone finally pushes it to the devs as needing a look at at some point.
this can’t be fixed right now, everything is correct automotively (excluding a slightly wrong gear 2 ratio, which also affects Scimitar Mk.1)

yes they’re not correct precisely, but their relative spacing is practically identical and not worth reporting

This can only be alleviated with true Torque modelling (torque curves), which we currently lack, with engine RPM not affective torque at all
This is mainly just Scimitar Mk.2 being extremely heavy, and too heavy for its engine to push through gear 7 well
As we lack torque modelling, does gaijin not actually just alter the engine actions at times to allow for vehicles to act more realistically, even if the numbers are not technically correct?
I am pretty sure that this issue has come up before and gaijin simply just changed the code to be incorrect in terms of numbers, but correct in terms of responsive reaction of other vehicles. Though I cant remember the name of them.
Well, by definition there must be torque modelling because engines produce a force to make the tank move, however there isnt any transparency or indication that a torque map or curve is used, nor that it depends on engine type, gas/petrol/diesel etc…
Torque, like Traction, is just a marketing lie. Doesnt actually exist. Vehicles just move by magic. Everyone knows that :P
oversteer is a myth to the developers unless its something with rear wheel steering
Nor is wheeled vehicles toppling over due to turning too hard
The thing that bugs me most though, and generally got fixed* on other vehicles is that as soon as you hit 7th gear you will drop 5-10kmh in speed for a short time, I dont think I have ever noticed such a thing on any othr vehicle in WT.
As for weight, I mean, its generally not actually that bad going up to 50kmh, you are faster then a lot of tanks with the weight reduction already (such as a Warrior, generally I will hit 50kmh before those which are pretty nippy), and vs its HP it isnt that bad either.
Just frustrating that this is imo, the main reason for the tank being bad, it gets stunlocked at 52-54kmh, drops, then builds up to there again slowly and locked into it, if it acted like any other light tank in WT, especially on hard ground it would be going zoomies and imo be 1 of the better light tanks of its BR, heck even if the block was at 60kmh it would likely be a real contender for a good scout because it would then have the mobility advantage vs medium armour.
I also thought it was a similar drivetrain as stormer, and you do not have the speed loss as much of an issue with that, which is also heavier. (while a higher HP engine, the transmission limits it afaik and a similar hp/t ratio?)
Not only not losing the 5-10kmh speed when it drops into 7th, it also tends to have an easier time breaking out of the 50-52kmh rutt and staying out.
Stormer does also struggle to accelerate in 7th gear, almost identically to the Scimitar Mk.2
(HVM on test drive doesnt go past ~33-34 mph offroad without some serious convincing, identically to the Scimitar Mk.2)
Automotively the Scimitar Mk.2 seems to behave almost identically to the Stormer HVM despite the weight and horsepower differences, it even drops its speed a little bit going from gear 6 to 7
People probably havent realised as Stormer HVM lacks anti tank weaponry, and thus noones zipping around so desperately with it, and the AD is lighter and doesnt suffer nearly as much from the gear ratios. And probably the placebo of the lower pitch of the Mk.2s engine (wrong engine sound btw) makes it feels slower than the higher pitched Stormer engine sound (that of the Bradley)
its mobility might feel worse as the wide weight distribution of the cages, likely mean you need more force to turn the same number of degrees due to inertia, resulting in it slowing down more (HVM feels like it pivots much quicker than Mk.2)
seems they just added ARH missiles to british jets
tornado gr1
the buc 2b
ironically the jaguar a gets AS 37s …
British Jaguars were never equipped to use Martel if that’s what you’re getting at.
Do you know if the Jaguar Darin 2/3 could?
they were based on the Jaguar S (british Jaguar) so probably not
The Darin’s didn’t but do have a domestic ARM, Rudram-1, which on paper looks pretty good.
Seems to have been postponed annoyingly
GR1A could get ALARM though (Though I dont want to risk its BR going up, so maybe the Hawk 200 RDA should get them)
Some of the unpacked assets were rolled back yesterday. Does that mean Gaijin will still introduce these changes later, or are they scrapped?
