Thats clear. But as mentioned, MOD documents above also reffer to it as AH Mk 2 as well. So this name can also be used.

RIAT was just a further example of how this name has been used.

Excellent

This one?
Schedule 3 (Tasking Order Form) - FATS STS Tasking

That document is from 2017 it pre-dates AH-64E’s acceptance in to service, where its designation was decided upon. In fact it will pre-date any official MoD service documentation on the AH-64E at all, because it’s literally talking about putting together the Statement of Operating Intent before delivering it to the Type Airworthiness Authority’s Subject Matter Expert to start the process of assessing the AH-64E’s airworthiness for flying in the UK. So it’s entirely prospective.

The SOI has to be submitted and approved by the TAA before any other documentation such as Aircrew Publications (APs) and Instructions for Sustaining Type Airworthiness (ISTAs) can be put together to form the type’s Air System Document Set (ADS). And compiling the ADS is where the problems I outlined with the use of “Apache Mk2” would have arisen.

  • MOD-DSP (NCCAN)
  • 20170112-FTS-D-CHC-576

Were the two used in the initial internal report.

Along with the other public display mentions.

I am still curious whether the production of AH MK2 has been completely completed : )

I am looking for the F-4J(UK) Flight Manual, Tactical Manual, and Ground Crew Manual but, is there an equivalent to the Navy model NAVAIR 01-245FDD-1A Supplemental NATOPS Flight Manual?

There should be detailed descriptions of radar, armament, INS, and sensor systems.

Sea Eagle ARH/IOG now, it sea skims and it impacts the hull at the water line;

For radars with SRC Sea it will cue to your locked target

Yes, in a word.

The old AH.1 fleet was retired in 2024 and I think the current strength is around 50 AH.2s. They certainly fly over my house enough for me to believe they’re running around doing ‘Apache-type’ things.

No, umm, I’m asking if the AH MK2 in the game is prepared for this version

Whoops - sorry - my mistake!

It flies at the same height above land and crashes into houses. Does the sources say anything about its attitude when launched over land?

Hell Yes!

Wait… hang on… Does Blue Parrot (Buc S2 radar) no longer have an A2A mode?

The Mosquito MK.16 didnt get any loadout changes yet, but it did get wing pylons modelled, which is a good sign for it to get proper wing mounted weapons

Its statcard also got updated, but the engine power is still wrong
