As we know, gaijin are so far beyond useless at balancing…well anything, They need to balance the top tier brits immediately. The stormer is still broken, the ADATS missiles, well are now so far beyond pointless due to the nerfs it has received over the past year, you may as well shoot peas at enemy tanks, and planes. BUT the biggest problem by a country mile is the L27A1 ammo. Now we know that it has always been the worst ammo at top tier, but was somewhat playable, to a degree, but now… Jesus, it is sooo bad, we may as well play with the L23 ammo and the outcome will still be the same. Another gaijin fukup with the spall liners, a good idea (coinciding with a sale for their fraudulent activities) gone terribly wrong, it just leaves nations in the dust and completely, once again, unbalanced top-tier. I ask that Gaijin buff the L27A1 ammo to at least make it somewhat viable. But alas, I assume this will fall on deaf ears as they can’t even get bots and cheats out of the game, because they generate income. GAJIN are a fukin joke when it comes to any nation other than Russia and Germany!!! a quality road map, complete smoke and mirrors!
I have no problems with the L27A1 ammo - things still explode nicely. Granted it does occasionally do really strange things but I’ve seen similar weirdness on DM53…
then you are one of the lucky ones. It’s been poor for many years now, but gaijin being gaijin will not fix it. Lowest pen rate, the worst spalling rate of any top-tier ammo, and now its worse thanks to the new spall liners. I’ve been using the DM33 (leo 2pl) and that performs way better than the L27A1. honestly, gaijin needs to stop being haters of Britain and sort the British ammo once and for all.
Yes and no, anything with spall liners is a nightmare on city maps, on maps where you can hull down at a decent range it’s not as much of a problem. I think the only problem with L27A1 is the pen reduction at range combined with the reduction at angle, it’s pretty harsh. But as I said, I don’t have that many issues blowing things up - never said it was one-shot kills, though ;)
Now if Gaijin could add spall liners to the rest of the NATO vehicles that have them…
It needs fixing from 6.0 up. No SPAA from 5.3 to 8. My Skink is not very good at 7. We also need a small light tank mid tier. Im surprised there is no scorpion

Yeah… Better/dedicated SPAA and an actual 10.0+ ish IFV would help a lot too. Combine with the huge outstanding list of bugs (including a lot of missing/underperforming armour) for the Challenger 2. But the biggest problem is that the maps where the CR2 should be good, are slowly being deleted from the game. In favour of CQB maps that unsurprisingly benefit for the “assault focused” soviet MBTs
Agreed fully on the SPAA front. I’m still using the ZA-35 in my lineup because the Adats is next to useless, and the Stormer is so broken it’s criminal…
Yeah, and plenty of good options, like the Warrior VERDI-2 or Tracked Rapier

The best we can hope for in the near future is some of the bugs on the Challenger 2 to be fixed I think

Hehe, but the Chally 2 though is still missing like half of its armour. Including hte fact that its ERA isnt actually ERA IRL and instead a composite

If we had better maps I’d actually play ground regularly.
But that wont happen, every new map they release is a Call of duty map, and I havent seen red desert for like 500 games.
