It would be a nice alt to the swift, which i would defo use over it in ground
I would for the sake of it being a Gnat. Personally like that era of vehicles. It’d have a much higher TWR than the Hunter so in that regard probably a bit more forgiving.
Yeah. Aim-9M would do… but that will go to all jets at the same time, we need something other nations dont have to fill the void. Someone compared it to the Israeli F-16 getting Python 3 because of no BVR. They are right. its exactly what we’d need

i suspect it’ll be a substantially higher BR too. suspect 9.0
its faster and has better payloads, it also has an obscene roc, but even at 9.0 i would take it over the swift for my line up there

I hate that BR, not sure why, I like the Sea-Vixen in SB, but other than that, the lowest I usually go in jets is the Lightning at the moment. Though SRAAM buffs might dig out the Hunter F6 or Harrier Gr1 more again
to be fair, i use my swift and the moment I can switch to the Scimitar. Bullpups are the thing.
Personally the reverse is true. anything between the Phantoms and above 9.0, cant touch it. like radioactive metals 😂

Hehe. I like Mud moving at the moment, So Tornado Gr1, Harrier Gr7 or jaguar Gr1/1A in SB is pretty much all im enjoying at the moment. Sea Harrier FRS1 will get taken out a lot more if they ever finish it. No radar really sucks in SB

aye, the fat whale of a plane. gotta love her tho, there is a certain merit of being able to get up to 20,000ft in 2 minutes at 8.7
the pain i can imagine in SB is theres no IFF. so visual ident on targets when targets can more often than not toss BVRAAMs back at you having IFFed you is probably a pain. I can report its very much a mixed bag in ARB. the Speed lets it down. go headon into the fight and you die instantly. skirt around a bit and you’ll never do anything cause by the time you get involved most people are dead
Yeah, its the lack of IFF. It makes the jet worthless in SB. There is 0 reason to take the FRS1 over the Harrier Gr7 as the Gr7 is at 11.0 in SB. With the exception of the 2 days where the Gr7 is in EC9 and FRS1 is top tier in EC8. there is just no reason to take it. IFF would allow you to fire in a headon, at the moment ,you just can’t

Regardless to the matter, its going to be a dud of a patch which doesnt answer our issues, and we need to locate our ghost tree coordinator ;)

It is quite funny seeing the “adding indian/southafrican stuff doesn’t make it any less likely for actual british stuff to come to the tech tree” when we see the result pretty plain
Its why its just PR speak, it clearly does, which is why we have had less native designs added to teh game then france has in the same time period
