Britain Naval Tree - What’s left to be added for all BRs

Vanguard maybe with the 15" supercharged guns. But KGV could be added whenever as it doesnt add anything in terms of firepower that isnt arleady present. It just adds a decent hull in which those guns are mounted on. How good compared to things like the Scharnhorst im not sure though.

but vangaurd never had supercharged guns?

hopefully kgv asap for you guys, and a colorado class for the US

It did it never used the rounds due to it not ending up in a war

Was fully capable of using them and was designed to, just no point wearing out the guns in peacetime.

(no idea if they test fired them or not. They probably did which is all that is needed for War Thunder)

I can go find drach’s vid on vanguard as I believe he talked about it in a vid he made on it

As good of a source as any :P

how does it hold up against the superheavy AP on the 16/50 of iowa?

Pen I have no idea, but comprable range as far as I am aware.

oh ok, i know superheavy has 4km range on the supercharged 15in (38km vs 34km), but also have no idea about penetration. heard it could punch through yamato turret armor though

https://youtu.be/sKx11kxkYww?si=h2D9PTeMunNU4BwG from 16 mins he talks about them being upgraded and tested to used supercharge shells so I theory all you would have to do is find the test documents

Might even be in the docs @Rileyy3437 has depending on when they were published

He also talked about someone who worked in the archives and should know what he is talking about essentially saying they were fitted out to fire them and would only carry them during wartime due to barrel wear. But I can’t for the life of me find the video where he mentions this

Is the Rodneys 40s reload time accurate?

I heard it could reload in 35-30 seconds

35 seconds maybe. Its proving it to Gaijins satisfaction.

Im new to naval bug reporting, how would they usually decide reload times?

I have no idea, I think just with a good sources stating the reload time. I think Riley was waiting for a book to arrive or something that might have more info to bug report it

Well they go for the shortest time from a primary source such as firing trials and that would be for ships at 0° as the gun doesn’t have to lower for the reload to start

Ah ok, it surprises me that the 400+ mm guns on the Japenese ships have something like a 25 second reload but the Rodney is 40 seconds

Unless the Japanese had some kind if advanced autoloaders it seems a bit strange

The Japanese times are from some trial or something that would be literally impossible in actual combat or something, meanwhile Rodneys is from its fight with Bismark (I think) or something (so actual combat times)

Things like the Amagi should probably be closer to 40 seconds

They really need to standardise the reload times

If the Rodney has a 30 or even 35 second reload it would be really good in my opinion
