Yeah it won’t be a slouch of a shell probably a bit disappointing by 16" standards but it will should be better than any current British shell and any 15" shell aside from maybe Vanguards supercharged shell?,
I don’t have the link to the new penetration calculator saved but Id guess it should be on par with Mutsu/amagi’s shells in penetration?

You may call for the documents that passed to developers, but I’m very pessimistic about it. Because wartime records states that standard battleship at best can have 48~ seconds reload, and there are no where aligning gun would spend 20+ seconds. I would rather doubt the condition of that document, as sometimes rounds per minute is not checked with empty guns, but starts with loaded gun firing.
In that case russian 14-inch is known as 3 rounds per minute, and developers give it 2 rounds per minute in game because it is 2 round that can be loaded in one minute. So 2.2 or 2.07 round per minute? Actually would be only 1.2 or 1.07 round per minute, with one round ‘already loaded’ included.
Japanese guns hit harder and have a significantly lower reload rate. If unchanged then it looks like Rodneys primary advantage will be in her superb survivability. She might even have better survivability than Scharnhorst.
Her bursting charge is also no joke, meaning she can do some very funny kills from hitting barbettes.
She looks solid, the only way I can see her being ruined is if she has godawful dispersion to pair with that 46 second reload.
It does look like that only the Japanese can have their RoF based on low angle firing tests. Which is just bizarre and unfair for everyone else.
