We can also, later on down the line for kicks and giggles, introduce 4 single shot MM.38 Exocet tubes in place of “B” turret.

I excluded high capability ASHM’s for now, because gun-play is still king. and the counties have the best conventional armament here.
But also things like exocets and sea eagles or whatever would be good but would fundamentally change the mode i think.

Yamato’s guns could reload as fast as 28 seconds dependant on gun elevation.

PoW is on the leak list and given it didnt get the late war upgrades, that would likely be Gaijins pick so they can add a late war upgrade as a premium, like they did for NelRod
It would seem so.
Unfortunately the leak list says PoW (can someone rationalise why Gaijin is so obsessed with giving us ships that were sunk???).
Now I love PoW for her enduring sacrifice to the British nation however, DoY and KGV would be much better picks.
DoY has the second (arguably first) best AA refit after Howe. DoY also sank Scharnhorst so I want her.
KGV is class leader and participated in actions against the Bismarck, she could also be added in her medium refit which would allow us to retain a KGV with floatplanes. PoW could also fill this gap I suppose so it’s not too much of an issue so long as we get DoY imo.

@Smin1080p_WT sorry to ping but if you are perhaps, in the future, going to be writing a devblog for a KGV class based on ‘something regal’. I think the title ‘HMS XX: Defender of Hope and Glory’ is a fitting one. As a homage to the wartime song, and also encompassing that these were emergency ships to help prevent the invasion of Britain and with it the collapse of the last European bastion of sovereignty.

I dont tend to write naval dev blogs im afriad. Mine are mostly all aircraft (the last one of mine was the Mosquito B MK XVI). But I will pass the suggestion on to those that do should a situation arise in the future where its possible.

there’s others that could also be referred to as ‘regal’, like Monarch, Emperor of India, KGV (the dreadnought), Royal Oak, Queen Elizabeth, and Princess Royal
but as others said, Wales was datamined so its unlikely to be anything else

Oh yeah we have loads of regal names, I’m just hoping they won’t add insult to injury (to be fair its gone past an injury) and add something functionally irrelevant for the tree (for now, naval backfill is appreciated outside of Major Updates).
This was back when the UK knew how to name something well and not after a county/city/region which is boring.
I’d guessed you didn’t write them, though I’ve read a fair few of your air blogs. But I also had a hunch you’d know exactly who to pass it over to. They might have their own title that’s better of course, but I’ve been spitballing for years on this topic, and that was my favourite.
A year after a R class was added to russia and now it looks like it will be even longer for a UK one to be added and thats still only a maybe
I half get it, So far we have gotten something other in every major update so far. If we had had an update with absolutely nothing for naval, then I would be extremely annoyed about it.
The only exception being Tuskforce where we only got a low BR destroyer, but we also got a premium… But could have been squeezed in there.
But yes, after an entire year, it should just get added alongside something else at this point, rather than being saved as a lazy filler somewhere down the road

But didnt we get HMS Orion, HMS Centurion and HMS Queen mary this year?

Only really the September update with just a destroyer for TT could it have been slotted in “cleanly” without too much to grind at once. I can get them not wanting to add it alongside another TT BB/BC despite the BS situation of it still not being added yet.
Centurion though actually looks kinda solid, havent gotten round to grinding it yet, but I have been thinking about a 6.7/7.0 lineup for quite a while
Though as much as I would like to see an R-Class. I do kinda wish they gave some serious love to our late destroyer and cruiser areas. Been a while since we got anything for Rank 3 or 4.
With R class being pretty much denied it has killed my motivation for naval maybe war thunder as a whole
Its not done that for me yet, especially given the state of 7.7+, if anything id prefer vehicles that werent at 7.7 or higher. Though KGV would be an exception to that
