Well Rodney doesn’t have reduce in penetration but only in splinter. Nevada, who suffered reduce in penetration damage better. It’s not matter of balllistic

The faster drop off in velocity is also impacting the angle of fall pretty significantly, which tends to help hit deeper components at closer ranges than guns retaining velocity at range better. So I’d say it’s one part new ballistics and another part the 14” guns having ~20% less dispersion than 15” and 16” now per the dev datamines
HMS Glamorgan was in a leak list a while ago. 2 x Twin 4.5" Guns up front and a Sea Slug launcher at the back would be nice. Plus she fought in the Falklands. Would also be good to see a nation other than Russia get a Bluewater ship with missiles too.

While the Warspite has been a bit disappointing, the Rodney feels really good after the buffs.
The 35 second reload is a huge improvement and I haven’t faced any survivability issues, the guns also feel decent. They love to ammorack enemy ships, but don’t really do much damage when aimed poorly. I think the ship should really get its 30 second reload, as its still worse than something like the Scharnhorst, but atm I’d say its very competitive.
I managed to ammorack a USS Colorado who was full health with a single 406mm shell to his ammorack after he respawned to revenge kill me, pretty good feeling.

I have to confess that the Tiger is way better now with the new aiming model. Primary and Secondaries now hit the same spot. Secondaries always used to overshoot.
Seeing as a 30 second reload rate is 100% historically proven, its absolutely ridiculous that the Devs haven’t given it to Rodney. They just arbitrarily decided to nerf it with no explanation. But im glad its at least better than it was, as i just unlocked it.

Unlocked Rodney this morning. Must admit Rodney really does hit hard managed to ammo rack 3 BB’s during an EC battle.
Feels like it can tank a bit too.

Can anyone tell me where HMS Diana was refit in 1959 to have the bridge and aft Torpedoes removed for more crew accommodation?
It’s for a Lang mod I work on and with refits, we add the location where she was refitted for that year.
I know it’s not 1960 as for Diana, she was classed as an ‘AC Group’ which had their refit from 1959-1960 and HMS Diana in 1960 had the rear twin 40mm STAAG mount removed.

Tribals, Battles, and Darings doesn’t have any specifics of the Daring’s 1959-60 modernisations, however it provides the following document as a source, “ADM 1/27569, Staff Requirements for Modernisation of Daring Class Destroyers.”
According to the National Archives website this document has not been digitised, so someone will have to request a copy. Daring class destroyers modernization: revised staff requirement | The National Archives.
Royal Navy destroyers since 1945 by Leo Marriott mentions more detailed information about these modernisations, however there is no citation for this, so I cant follow exactly what source they used for this information.
Daring Class Destroyers by Neil McCart would probably contain more detailed information if you want a book source, however I do not have a copy of this.
