Try it at angle that not flat onto the side as flat on to the side just make the armour more effective because of the turtle back. Plunging fire negates that effectiveness to an extent
At that range you will not have plunging fire, 2k is basically point blank
Well yeah how often are you fighting scharn at 2k the new has improved long range performance not point blank lol
At longer ranges you can bypass the main belt and hit the upper belt with plunging fire which can go straight into the ammo rack
well we all know only 1 ship is able to kill a sharnhorst everything else will just bounce off
Bring on the WW2 refit of Belfast :P
That doesn’t change the busted armour of the scharnhorst
You know there is a thing called sarcasm right?
Did HMS Warspite use DS steel as structual plate of her superstructure?
yes, most of the Tower used D quality steel only the Bridge and the ladder up to it was encased in HT armour with 3" front and side, 2" rear and 1 1/2" roof.
did Britain ever make actual AP shells for the 6 and 8 inch cruisers
So now with the armour being visible on the dev how right or wrong is it
Very nice, making decent progress. I’ve not even touched coastal yet since you started the power grind :D
trust me the le orla is amazing better than like 99% of the tech tree
May consider it in the summer sales then. Ive got nothing else on my premium list currently for the sale
getting through this is killing me slightly but i am wanting hms tiger and kinda dont want to pay 90+
Yeah, good luck :D
I wanna know when Britain is getting its own revenge class
Wouldn’t we all
Also what year model is the warspite we’re getting. I seen 1942 mentioned but the deck armour and armament doesn’t match up with that
