I mean it might be unarmed but if nothing is preventing it from using weapons then why not just add that one? unless there is a limitation i’m no aware of.
I meant rob of of the feeling of finally getting something new and competive just for the brits to get it aswell
Smin said something along the lines of “no, because we don’t have vehicles operated by private companies in war thunder”
Of course…
I understood that he knows it would have access to them on the game, but would be considered ahistorical since SA doesn’t operate them irl, just like 9Ms and Sparrows on the Obama for example.
Man, I’m so glad israel got a sequel to Obama
That was to the Canadian top aces F-16
USA wasn’t robbed of F-16.
@galaxygms
Well, players having the opinion that vehicular historical things are ahistorical is their personal issue.
Well, I tried to explain.
I mean, I’m not gaijin, but I am pretty sure if Top Aces aircraft are denied due to that reason, another companies disarmed aircraft would be denied for the same reason
Well it was partly owned by the ministry of defence as well so I guess they will just use that reason for the Gripen. Plus its will be a unique variant too
If they are considering a Gripen for britain its gonna be a SAAF one anyways, the one owned by QinetiQ doesn’t even have a RAF livery and would open the can of worms that Smin tried to keep shut (that being companies like Top Aces and their aircraft)
USA ain’t a minor nation they have a lot more stuff then everyone else
Again even though that company was the operator it was still part under the MOD. I suggest reading more into the flight school
Even if that flight school and QinetiQ were 100% government owned, it’s still a flight school and the Gripen is still a disarmed trainer aircraft owned by a company rather than the military itself.
I don’t make the rules, but I would bet they have some kind of paragraph that rules vehicles operated by non-military organizations out, even if they could be armed
Well here a D with its armament
Though its a RTAF though but still a D
Shes so pertty
She is so all gaijin needs to do is base the D on that one but with RAF markings
I guess I should have said de-militarized
Edit: doesn’t matter anyways, apparently the Empire Test Pilots Schools Gripen isn’t even in britain, they travel to sweden to fly it at SAABs facility
Bruh
The Empire Test Pilots’ School is a British training school for test pilots and flight test engineers of fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft at MoD Boscombe Down in Wiltshire, England .
