If they did that I would honestly break inside. I think I would have to quit the game on principle if they gave us a new top tier fighter but locked it behind squadron RP
not squad but just in the normal tech tree would be most likely if they do add it
I don’t think I would, If i was going to quit on principle it should’ve been when we got given one of the worst naval tech tree’s despite having the worlds premier navy.
Or when we got given the worst Hunter and then a reconciliation by giving the good one fuck you impossible missiles and putting it against top tiers without flares.
Or when in update supersonics, we didn’t receive a supersonic that could actually go supersonic (it still can’t).
Or when they refuse to fix anything with the Challengers, stormer, and then when we asked for IFV’s they gave us a worse version of something we already have that’s technically a ‘light tank’.
Or when they gave us the best variant of a class of ship, as an event vehicle despite its sister being a thing.
Honestly I don’t think anything could get me to quit the game, however quit the British TT, yeah I’m already at that point. I wish they’d never added it.
or just finger crossed, hope they add subtree page
Can do more too. Would allow you to see the map essentially.
I guess some aircraft (SAAF) might be tech tree, some aircraft maybe event vehicle and some aircraft could be premium pack or premium golden eagle in premium tree
For example, Atlas Cheetah D (event vehicle), Atlas Cheetah C (tech tree), Super Mirage F1 (tech tree), JAS 39 Gripen C (tech tree) and Hawker Hurricane Mk.IIc (event vehicle or battlepass or premium GE)
I missed your message somehow but yes. I think Gripen folder should be after JA37D.
I didn’t even know that Gripen A (Early) it different from Gripen A (Late) ?
You have any idea 5 candidate new aircraft 12.0-12.7 BR in rank 8 (RAF, RN, RCAF & IAF) for great britain tech tree after Tornado F3, F-4K Phantom FG.1 and F-4M Phantom FGR.2 in the future ?
F/A-18 / CF-18 (RAAF/RCAF)
Hawk 200 (British built, mostly used by Oman, Malaysia and Indonesia)
Tornado F.3 CSP (RAF)
Tornado GR.4 (RAF)
Harrier GR.9A (RAF)
Sea Harrier FA.2 (RAF/FAA)
Mirage 2000I (IAF)
Gripen C/D (SAAF)
Atlas Cheetah C (SAAF)
Yes, I know the IAF has MiG-29s, but those shouldn’t be an option with so many alternatives
Well we could potentially have 2 Gripen As but I don’t think it’s needed:
- Gripen A early (AIM-9L and Skyflash) 11.7-12.0
- Gripen A late (AIM-9L and AIM-120B) 12.3-12.7
From my list at least I’d place:
- All CF-18 versions after FGR.2;
- Sea Harrier FA.2 and Tejas NP after FG.1
- Tornado F.3 FSP after Tornado F.3;
- Tejas Mk.1 and Tejas Mk.1A after harrier GR.7.
Everything except Mirage 2000I and MiG-29 is cool imo
New list:
-
FGR.2 > CF-18 (early) > CF-18 IMP > CF-18 HEP > CF-35
-
Tornado F.3 > Tornado F.3 FSP > EF2000 DA.2 > EF2000 Block 10 > EF 2000 Tranche 4
-
FG.1 > Sea Harrier FA.2 > Tejas NP > F-35B
-
Harrier GR.7 > Harrier GR.9 > Hawk 200 > Tejas Mk.1 > Tejas Mk.1A
-
Tornado GR.1 > Tornado GR.4 > SAAF Gripen C
Nah, the Hornets would follow the FG.1 as they are still naval aircraft and the Gripen C definitely does not belong in the Bomber line
Yes and no its a grey area on that
What’s the grey area? The only thing the canadians got rid of is the automatic carrier landing system, which is not needed to land on carriers
I guess gaijin deciding the F-4J(UK) to lose it’s naval aircraft status will apply to the Hornets as well, which is bullcrap, as it takes away carrier spawns for these vehicles
i meant if they did the aussie hornet then it wouldn’t be naval as they removed the stuff for it but the cf18 could be used but never was
Ah fair
(Though in theory the aussie F/A-18s would still be capable of taking off and landing on carriers with ramp take-off)
Naval aircraft status isn’t determined by capabilities but by aircraft’s use/function.
Loads of aircraft have arresting hooks tho, almost every modern jet has them for emergency landings
Theory eh well the snail might not agree on that
