Looking at the stream the gripen is pretty good at turn fighting but can’t keep up with the others in a straight line.

But as a step away from the moaning this patch does look to be very fun for those who benefit. Any big step like this is a step towards Eurofighter. But we will definitely be waiting until this time next christmas if not longer for the Eurofighter.

The thing is Mirage situation should be discussed on its proper thread just like how we are discussing this dirty decision on new Gripen thread.
Not sure how they expect the M4K to go against Su-27’s and F-15’s with 6 hardpoints on a good but not as good as the F-16 flight model. If the others can get 8-10 then its beyond me why the M4K wouldn’t.
However I’m going to hold out hope, firstly that the Swedes get the Gripen C and secondly that the M4K gets all its hardpoints, oh and that the Su-27 and F-15 are at 13.0 with the Su-27 having its fully awful radar present in the first few aircraft.

iirc the turning might not be that far wrong as you might think. Gripen had the capability to pull 12G irl
I don’t think it will be, I’d imagine somewhere around the Mig-29 level but with a weaker engine but more AOA and immediate AOA particularly.
maybe just hope it stays good won’t be able to try it until next weeks dev
So for the Swed/UK/SA folk, I’ve had a few games under my belt in the Gripen A.
Rolling only 6x9M and a load of flares. It is veeeeery capable. Biggest things to watch out for in the current FM are, the NE speeds.
At sea level it will happily accelerate up to mach 1.2 and past it to the point the wings fail from overspeed. I’d watch your IAS doesn’t climb too high into the 1400Kph range which is easily done.
But it is incredibly agile. I comfortably beat an F-15.

The ZA Gripen C is going to be a much better platform with the HMS.
