You’ve focused ONLY on the first item in the list of about 20 missing features and capabilities. Even basic things like Gunner and commander positions, where ammo is located or the pen of the L27A1 is wrong and has been proven wrong
Each Boz pod IRL can carry 28 flares and 600 chaff. They currently only have 28 CMs. Therefore, its missing 600x2 chaff count, everything I said was 100% accurate. Missing 95% of its CM count is a massive nerf.
We are still missing multiple other loadout options, such as Sea Eagles, Paveway II and Cluster bombs. Not too mention the lack of ground radar massively nerfs the weapons we’ve got.
And? R-73s and Aim-9M weren’t required for F-16 or Mig-29, but they got them. But we cant ask for our missiles. Heck, we were just denied by Smin in the Tornado thread the De-Chirped Aim-9Ls which were standard on ALL british aircraft.
Wrong again, we have about 50+ aircraft missing from our TT. Including AT LEAST 4 that would be 12+ but they refuse to add them. Even the Typhoon was denied because US and USSR mains dont have enough skill to face them
IRL the Challenger exhibits a lethargic mobility, insufficient protection, a hard cap on maximum shell capability due to 2 piece ammunition.
Its not “starting stuff” to point out facts and shoot down the PR myths that loyal fan bases inevitably cook up.
The pics of the CR2s mantlet are publicly available, and aside from the ERA it is quite good. The UK TT is even one of the few to receive x4 of its top MBT.
We do suffer because the MOD like to prat about, but also we suffer because Gaijin hasn’t added what we do have, or they have nerfed it.
Not gonna argue SRAAM wasn’t bs, but there were other options, P.1109B or even better, in update supersonic, the supermarine Type 545, an actual supersonic. But yes we were favoured there.
Gaijin uses the same calc for all shells, cry louder when 2 piece ammunition and “muh rifled barrel” backfire. Bug report the ammo location if you can prove it.
Gaijin hasnt implemented the 600chaff because asymmetrical CM carriage isnt implemented, this has been addressed.
If it is missing an implemented weapon either you are lying or there is insufficient proof. Ground radar works much differently than how you perceive, rarely exhibiting the information clarity seen on modern helis or AESA.
AIM-9M/R-73 were both necessary steps forward for top tier, AMRAAM/ARH is coming in the next patch, no need to cry. ASRAAM implements an IRCCM currently not represented in game (imaging seeker) which according to publicly available records exceeds 95% flare rejection. With how gimped IRCCM is no one is ready for this, as the AIM-9X, IRIS-T, and other advanced IRAAMs are near certain kills within WEZ.
Both of the listed bug reports were approved within the last 6mo, and are likely to be implemented.
Your last paragraph show how truly little your understand in the evolution of air combat and the complete over-match even single system change can result in.
Perhaps, but If top tier aircraft that did not need IRCCM missiles to be highly competitive can get added without any second thought, but we cant even ask for good missiles on much older and weaker airframes. Its kinda BS. Early ASRAAM intergration on F3 would mitigate a LOT of the ASRAAMs later strength, because it was at best a bodge job initially. Would just be longer ranged version of the Aim-9M essentially
Seperating CMs has been a requested feature for years. Entering the Tornado development they must have seen this coming and we’ve had this now for over a year with no word on any improvements. They could at minimum compromise and just double the CM count, so we have 56 flares and 56 chaff and lock it to mixed CMs loadout. At least give us IRL flare count with some chaff.
UK MOD: Sure the turret cheeks can have 800mm kinetic protection, even the upper plate can have some. The other 40% of the tanks profile? Meh, WW2 medium tank armor should suffice…
It would still have long range, incredible maneuverability, unflarable IRCCM, etc. The only thing holding it back would be the lack of HMD. I don’t quite like the idea of throwing overpowered missiles on bad aircraft, it’s a nightmare for balance and doesn’t solve anything really.
Just wrong. In every single way, Bug report has been submitted for this.
Done
Both bug reports on the list you looked at for 10 seconds
See above
They really weren’t IRCCM could have been given to low performance aircraft like the FA2 to maintain balance. But instead they were given to 12.3s which would have been 12.3 without them.
Already been reported. Every single one of those weapons I believe has been reported internally by @Gunjob
They are still a capability missing from the aircraft
Yes, 6 months ago and nothing, not even more than a hint they are being worked on. If that was a bug report for another nation, they’d have been fixed 6 months ago. But both missiles have been buggy for nearly a year (and they knew about it)
