they need to swap the amount of decorations on ur tank with the amount of decals. IMO having 4 slots isn’t enough. and having 6 different bushes covering the entire tank is TOTALLY a good thing have
Just saw a guy with the 3rd Royal Tank Regiment decals and wondered how he got them, i made research and came to the sad conclusion that they removed it, please gaijin we want realistic decals, not a dragon or a Eva Elfie sticker on my tank. Cus in a couple years this is gonna look like youre average battlepass game with no realism and fictional shit (WoT). Bring back realistic decals!
I’m new to WT forums, did this get passed? Or does anyone know if Gaijin will implement this since it has so many upvotes? Realistic decals are important to me for all nations, the decals I personally would like to see are more variations of the balkenkreuz like the all white one for example, so that my earlier German tanks are more historically accurate. The sickle and hammer would be good to add as well, as it was painted on some early tanks. I’d also like to see more historical tank division decals for all nations, as some tanks are missing their divisions. For example, the captured KV-2 for Germany (12th panzer division), the captured T 34 for Germany (4th panzer division), and the 8th panzer division would be good to add as well for the KV-1B since they used KV-1’s and it’s part of the German tech tree, but also the appropriate Finnish division markings/decals for people who want to play it as a Finnish vehicle, which it is. One more thing I think would be good, is adding individual numbers (1-9, and 0) in a historically accurate font matching whatever nation they belong to, so that we are not stuck using the same 4 or 5 number sets over and over which some nations don’t even have.
not yet atleast.
+1 (not with swastika version, just the old one)
+1 Please bring back early war balkenkruz, i need it to historically mark tanks!
So what is the name of this decal used and in what category is it located in the game?
He’s talking about using 7s to make Zs and crude swastikas.
i do love the fact that this is 100% yes with 347 people voting yes for it
I hope they bring these back with the monthly decals now going on once again.
Please!!! I need that early war white Balkenkreuz!
+1
Was there ever even a reason given for this to be removed, especially with how little customization there is in this game? It seems like expanding on this would make so much more sense (for example: imagine if every premium vehicle also came with one premium decal, so even if somebody doesn’t want the premium vehicle they would be inclined to purchase the vehicle for the use of the DECAL on other vehicles??)
This is absolutely absurd to remove. We want the hammer of sickle from the Soviet T-III to use on other vehicles, or the DAK symbol, or even the ability to get the flag that was able from the Karl Galster. PLEASE bring this ability back to use these decals on other vehicles and even expand on it to more premium vehicles, you would see an increase in more people buying vehicles that are very rarely purchased.
Already when this was changed I hated this change, a) because that was the end for decals one could get along with Premiums, and b) because you are now forced to have the markings which are included ad skin layers and can’t deactivate this.
So one has to plaster some decal OVER those markings if one doesn’t like those… = /
Hungary should revise some of it’s laws to allow games to have historic portrayal of those symbols. Funnily enough Germany allows it because of a situation some years ago with another game. Unless a game in Hungary causes the same situation, nobody there will care to revise the law to allow games to have apolitical, historical portrayal of those symbols.
Realistically nobody would care but since gaijin employees never comment on anything mildly controversial, it can be stated they have no balls and want to stay on the safe side.
It would be fun, but likely never happening.
I don’t think that this has anything to do with the Hungarian law, or at least mainly. The Hammer and Sickle and the Red Star included in the very same category as the svastika, yet they are in the game. I guess in general it makes the game more consumer friendly, and it appaels to a larger audience.
