Many vehicles were removed from their original tech trees following the introduction of new nations or other changes. While those decisions made sense at the time, they also left newer players with no legitimate way to obtain some genuinely interesting vehicles that were once available in those tech trees.
Iโd like to suggest bringing these removed premiums and old tech tree vehicles back for a limited time during themed events. For example, a Centurion event could temporarily return vehicles such as the Strv 81 (RB 52) and Shoโt Kal Dalet to the British tech tree, alongside discounts on other Centurion variants. The event could also include themed decals, profile icons, and, if Gaijin wanted to expand on the idea, a unique Centurion event vehicle.
This wouldnโt be without precedent. Gaijin has already brought back rare and previously unavailable vehicles during special events, and more recently, the XM-1 Chrysler, which was once an Xbox exclusive, became available for PC players.
The idea also isnโt limited to the Centurion family. Similar events could be held for other vehicle families like the M48s, giving players another opportunity to purchase removed premiums like the Centurions while celebrating the history of those vehicles.
I see this as a win for everyone involved. Players get another chance to purchase vehicles they may have missed because they were too new to the game, too young to buy them at the time, or simply started playing after they were removed. Gaijin benefits from additional sales, while long time owners still retain the prestige of having owned these vehicles for years rather than only during a limited event. To further recognise those original owners, Gaijin could even provide a unique skin, decal, or other cosmetic reward to distinguish them from newer owners.
A limited time return would preserve the exclusivity of these vehicles while giving the community another opportunity to enjoy them. It would be a simple, community friendly event that celebrates some iconic vehicles instead of leaving them inaccessible indefinitely.
