Raking a boat Bow to Stern is nothing new. Spreading your shots to fill a boat full of holes along its entire length has always been the best fastest way to sink a boat. The graphics help understand that a bit better i suppose. I’m not aware of how that mechanic has changes significantly.
Hitting someone with guns 3 to 4k out isn’t odd. With Bofors. Don’t know if I recall 20mm. But I wouldn’t be surprised. the key is that it took time to gain the skill to do that.
Now… you just point and click.
It’s not very fun or reward to the vets, and the new guys don’t even know what’s going on.
Everyone’s going to be leaning on rapid fire boat/long established OP stuff more than ever now.

Just add an option to let people who dislike the new aiming system to switch back to the old one.
I don’t see the reason to force all of us into using the new aiming system.

only problem I see with that is some of us using skill and occassionally missing while others using HEVT/Auto 76 with Gaijin Approved Aimbot clearing the field.
They need to make it the same for everyone.
