BR Range in fights .5 +/-

As stated in the title, BR battles should ever only be between +/-.5 BR difference. There is absolutely no reason at all that a WWII tank should be facing Cold War tanks. It’s absolutely the dumbest fight ever. this 1.0BR +/- is absolutely stupid.

Perfect example is the Tiger II vs a M103. There’s absolutely no reason that is even allowed to happen, it’s pure seal clubbing at its finest when up tiered.

If it’s balanced (which it is almost all the time) then that isn’t much of an issue.

Decompress Brs instead of reducing the BR spread. It just gives less variability for balancing in a BR bracket.

People have been asking for a BR decompression for YEARS and the only thing we get is a separation between high tier and Cold War vehicles, which is needed but not as badly as WWII/Cold War. And since they have a screwed up BR system. I guess it would just be a .7BR +/- it would solve 99% of the decompression issues people have.

We did get ww2/Cold War decompression not too long ago when lots of early Cold War stuff went up in BR.

there is a very good reason: balancing. Cold War tanks facing World War II tanks in the game generally have a good reason to be in these Brs. For example the Ratels in the English tree are fundamentally bad and their current Br seems correct to me, the going from 1 to 2 Br points would be stupid. It’s the same thing for the PT76, the AML90 etc.

Likewise, I imagine Swedish players would appreciate not seeing their reserve tanks move to 7.0 to fight T54

lol
The amount of BR compression that would have to occur for such a change would be far more work than just decompressing BRs.

Also Tiger 2 vs M103 is a perfect divergent fight. Poor example on your part.

On top of that, WW2 tanks DID fight cold war tanks constantly, and so would Tiger 2s.

And we got it. HEATFS from MBTs doesn’t face 6.7s anymore.
HEATFS now only faces early cold war tanks and newer.
