These conspiracy theories are getting ridiculous
TBH, not at all surprised to see the AMX M4 going up. It’s been incredibly strong at 6.7 for a very long time, and I suspect it’ll do just fine at 7.0, barring the lack of lineup.
The AMX-13 baffles me, however. Who is this person at Gaijin HQ who values the AMX-13 chassis so highly? First we had the FL-11 which is somehow two BR steps higher than the Chaffee, and now the regular version is somehow equivalent to the T92. Not to mention that the HOT version has been borderline unusable for years at this point. Plus whatever the hell’s going on with the EBR 1951.

The X-13 going up to 7.0 is ridiculous. As some other guy said, French players get punished for being good.

The FL11 is where the Chaffee should be.
Yeah. I was sure that the AMX M4 was going up to 7.0 but the AMX-13 was unexpected.
Thats higher than the more mobile EBR 1954.
How does that make sense?

My thoughts are that bc there was no 7.0 lineup, players spent time using 6.7 recently, french players are a smaller than average group who are usually more experienced, they did noticeably well these last couple months, and earned a br increase for 6.7 just as gaijin was looking to make br changes
The amx13 is a light tank so it has the greatest potential
If a few above average players play it suddenly and consistently, it’ll meet that potential more often than when in the hands of average players
Even if this BP inspired more ppl to grind France and their skill level was more average, it takes time to reach 6.7
Also, now they’ll have a slightly harder time with 7.0 which is unfortunate bc I really like that area of the game
Speaking of the HOT version, seeing it in game feels pretty rare and I don’t recall a death against it so what u say sounds right

Im definitely like “ehh, I dont like it but I cant argue” with the AMX M4, it is absolutely bonkers strong.
I was definitely question marking the AMX 13 though, it definitely doesnt deserve 7.0.
The thing im most annoyed about is that there isnt a lineup at 7.0, so to play those two tanks im basically stuck dragging the rest of the lineup into an uptier.

Yeah the AMX-13 moving up to 7.0 makes no sense.
The EBR 1951 is 5.3, the AMX-13 (FL11) is 4.3.
So how does it make sense that the AMX-13 should be moved up to 7.0 while the EBR 1954 stays at 6.7?
The EBR is simply superior due to better mobility and most importantly much faster reverse speed.
