The situation with the M1A1 Click Bait and Leopard 2PL is a bit frustrating, isn’t it? When premium MBTS can use the same round as tech tree vehicles, it really blurs the lines. It makes you wonder why anyone would bother grinding for the M1A2, for example, when the M1A1 Click Bait offers nearly the same performance. Sure, the M1A2 has better thermals, but is that really enough? The core advantage is basically gone, and players might just opt for the premium version instead, and to make things more interesting, it would make sense for the M1A2’s to get the M829A3 round. That would give it a solid edge and make it a worthwhile investment. And what about the Leopard 2A5/6 and 2A7? If they had access to DM63, it would add even more variety and depth to the gameplay. In the end, the goal should be to create a clear distinction between premiums and tech-tree vehicles. When they start to feel the same, it takes away from the excitement of progressing through the tech tree. Players want to feel rewarded for their time and effort, not like they’re choosing between nearly identical options. Balancing these vehicles could really enhance the overall experience and keep everyone engaged.
Because one costs $ while the other can be accessed for free.

The tech tree has two MBTs fully capable at that BR range, the M1A1 HC and the M1A1 AIM. Both have upgraded turret armor and good penetrating rounds for the BR. There’s no benefit to buying a 3rd MBT when you could be slotting something for utility such as the HSTV-L, you’re not going to survive long against air taking out a 3rd MBT.
This is precisely why copy paste premiums are a great addition. They make it so people feel rewarded for grinding unique tech tree vehicles rather than spending $ for the same thing they could get by playing for free. This reserves premiums to those who just like the cosmetics of the tank (see the Leopard’s camo netting) or who wish to bypass the game’s grind.
Both of those things are logical for a free to play game to offer for real $. I support Gaijin’s change from unique vehilces as premiums to more copy paste solid vehicles. I don’t want more Vidars or 2S38s.
Well maybe A2 should get 829A3 but DM63 are just DM53 with propellant that make them immune to ammo detonation (nice additional tbh) and i’m doubt gaijin will ever add anti ERA for A3 they don’t even give it to DM53 and L27A1 which already in the game
