A quick question: Why GAIJIN hasn’t put any effort in BR balance since Tier 5?
What are the parameters they are basing on to choose which BRs is every plane. I’ve seen a Tier V plane fighting Tier VII. just like YaK-23, what is that thing doing in 8.7?, F-104 being too fast in 9.3, MiG-29 with R-60s in 12.7, YaK-141 with 4 missiles in 12.7, TU-4 slow bomber in 8.0
And do not come and tell me that YaK-141 and MiG-29 belong to 12.7 because of the HMD thing 'cause that is not a justification. MiG-29 with R-60Ms = Useless. YaK-141 is slower than a MiG-21 SMT and had to fight with only 4 missiles maximum.
F-9F-8 (Cougar) with 4xAIM-9B sitting in 8.3, Vaotour with FOX-1s in 8.3; a lot of planes (Mostly premiums) with missiles with 20 to 30 G some all-aspect between 9.0 and 9.7 with tons of flares too.
But anyway, it is not they are gonna use their brain and change it even if everyone agree with BRs being a mess…

F-104A is among the worst supersonic 9.3s.
Yak-141 and Mig-29 are among the best examples of 12.7s, they are what 12.7s should be.
Yak-141 is the fastest accelerating jet in the game, and carries 4x R-27Ts.
There are no all-aspect missiles below 10.3 currently.
probably right in YaK-141 and MiG-29, but that would be 100% true if those plane weren’t match with top tier all the time, and YaK-141 had the best acceleration is because is a VTOL, but in flight it comes a useless feature, you will not dogfight an AIM-120.
I’m glad I’m mistaken with All-Aspect missiles below 10.0, but I remember a time ago a CAS sitting in 9.7 with all-aspect missiles
and F-104 in capable hands becomes untouchable and unreachable for 8.3 planes with the brrrr thing can kill at 1.5 km distance against NR-23 as an example of some brownings 12.7mm
I appreciate the response and I want to address more things.
There are OP 13.0s, and 13.3 - 14.0 that needs to be moved up for decompression.
There’s also the 12.7 F-18C that needs to be 13.0 with the non-OP 13.0s.
That would alleviate pressure from the balanced 12.7s and 13.0s.
As for F-104. Being untouchable comes at a cost of not being able to touch anything more maneuverable than itself. It has a chronic rudder flaw that prevents it from engaging subsonic aircraft aware of its position.
Mig-19S? That thing’s easily the best 9.3 with F-100D in 2nd. Not as fast, but they can actually fight air RB matches extremely well.
