BR 10_2 Ground SB Lineup Rework Proposal

In this post, I want to discuss vehicles that should be added to the 10.2 BR lineup (Simulator Battles).

This lineup lacks many vehicles that are either non-competitive in other lineups or simply don’t fit there. I’ll also provide analogues and competitive counterparts from other nations that are already present in the 10.2 SB lineup.

USSR/Russia

  1. Helicopters:
  • Mi-28N and Mi-8AMTSh-VN
    These two helicopters are currently in the 11.2 BR lineup, where they struggle against top-tier SPAA and aircraft.
    2.Analogues/Competitors:* YAH-64, Z-19/E, A-129 Mangusta, Mi-28A.
  1. Tanks:
  • T-72B3
    It’s not a bad tank, nor is it non-competitive at 11.2, but it would perform much better at 10.2 due to its long reload, weak mobility (and a painful -4 km/h reverse speed).
    4.Competitors:* Challenger 2, Merkava 3B/C.

USA

  1. Tanks:
  • M1A1 and IPM1
    These tanks are decent, but at 11.2, they stand no chance against top-tier MBTs. They’d be much better suited for 10.2, where there’s already competitive equipment.
    4.Competitors:* Challenger 2, Merkava 3B/C.

Italy

  1. Tanks:
  • Ariete C1 PSO, Ariete Certezza
    These tanks are already underwhelming in Realistic Battles, but in Simulator Battles against top-tier vehicles with the worst stats, they’re even worse. No armor, no mobility—nothing! They desperately need to be moved to 10.2.
    2.Analogues/Competitors:* Challenger 2, T-90A, Merkava 3B/C.

No. They already get the T-90A which is blatantly the best tank in the bracket, they don’t need to have both it and the B3

Way to show your lack of experience on the topic, it’s already available in 10_2. The real argument is for the AH-64A, which is a direct downgrade from the 64D and yet fights in the same bracket.

Frankly these don’t really need to move, there is just almost no point in playing them in top tier. If they do go down it’s just going to result in a bunch of TURMs players crying about getting UFP’d and 1 shot, while in top tier they just trade mobility for slightly less forgiving weak spots compared to the M1A2+'s.

Same as M1’s, regardless of bracket they are glass, but it doesn’t change their guns being big sticks.

Literally every helicopter is in the same boat, at least these get a metric load of MANPADs in comparison and very forgiving ATGM and rocket loads.

This whole post basically reads like a Soviet main wanting to buff their own lineup, but knows they aren’t even close to justifying it without throwing in some Blue side vehicles that they have no understanding of.

The YAH-64 also has 16 Hellfire ATGMs.

T-90A is the best? I suggest adding a good tank for other nations, M1A1 for the USA, Arieta for Italy, etc.
