I am absolutely in favor of the introduction of the Boxer Skyranger 30! I never really warmed up to the Gepard and so as a fire and forget fan I only have Ocelot for air defense. After Vilkas came as an event vehicle, I was a bit disappointed anyway, because I had hoped to finally welcome the Boxer family, similar to what was done with the Wiesel family.
Too small amount of ammunition for such rpm. Maybe skyranger 35 mm theme?

sadly it gets at best stinkers(stingers)or 9 anti drone missiles
why skyknight?
they dont fit into the same form factor as MANPADS. Possible integrations are mistral, piorun and stinger for example
also in regards to SADM: the german DoD started a new tender on a missile like that and Diehl is expected to design a similar missile (they call it µMissile)
Chiron was named as well, would be realy intresting one

skyknight was an option that was looked but never taken not even a mockup launcher was made

SkyKnight is larger, heavier and not produced. rather unlikely to be integrated and its more akin to IronDome
its a development from Grom which is an improvement of Igla
its afaik the most modern MANPADS in existence
Piorun-NG was announced like last year with a multi-spectral seeker, and more improvements
for MAPNADS its probably your best bet at the moment.

we’re talking about the german military here. EP14 increased by like 1.2 billion and conscription isnt possible because it would be too expensive.
at least we’re developing some new long range strike missile with france, italy and poland because no one cares about the INF treaty and we’d like a slice of that as well
