While it’s a really cool looking decal, the text on it just sounds wrong in english… So I made it a bit better!

Yes I prefer the fixes, or “Born To Be A Sniper” just drop the “Was” part.

I think it’s just a direct translation from russian which doesn’t sound too good in english

The issue is the wording is cumbersome and rolls off the tongue strangely in English. While “Was born to be a sniper” is grammatically correct in a technical sense, it sounds a little “extra” or “too much” to the ears of a native Anglophone. That “Was” does a lot more than what you’d think three letters would do.
And yes, it’s precisely because it was most likely a direct translation from Russian; they directly translated without accounting for different “rules” or themes in the languages.
Sadly it’s indicative of Gaijin’s lack of care for English in this game. Don’t get me started on English speaking tank crews…

I would change it in to three versions
A: sN1p, n0w!!
B: Mom get the camera!
C: 360 no scope!
I dunno, those are a little too “gamer.”
