Bombing bridges

Would be better for air simulator battles because of the convoys you need to destroy, because it will required the convoy to stop, and possibly turn around, or when on a bridge, dunking them in the river, or making them sitting targets for bombs.

They are exceedingly rare and are not present in all air gamemodes. like SB. I dont beleive a single EC map contains bridge targets

I think destructible bridges are only available in low BR(1-5). I have never seen any destructible bridges above BR 5.0

OP plays predominately ground so is referring to bridges on the ground maps, I believe.

I assume you’re talking about destroying bridges in GRB… Honestly for the payout of cutting off an entire zone from the opposing team it’d only be fair to balance it with an extremely risky situation for you. I’d think it’d be fine to add it do long as we have proper anti air systems (i.e Patriot or IRIS-T SLS) to defend such key positions, as we do in real life.

Punishes the team if they don’t spawn anti air (which they should and most likely will). That’s also why rewards and such for playing anti air should be increased. They have the vital role to prevent CAS getting a free lunch.

Sounds about right, I cant recall the last time I saw a bridge target, but at the same time, I havent played that low in a long time.

Its a shame, they have so many ground targets already in the game, but just… dont include them at higher BRs or in different gamemodes. SB’s biggest problem in my opinion is the lack of objectives. Its one thing to create new objectives from scratch, its another to add one using things already in game

Mine is Stalingrad, with the old 8.7+ version having 5-6 bridges

Nop, you expect people would grind spaa out in they tech tree and some nation spaa aren’t worth to grind at all. I can spawn pantsir in top battles and would not change battle at all against 2 helicopters and 3 CAS control the battefield.

OK, the rivers in this game are wide enough to float a barge in them if they’re that wide they need to be deep and not be like a Creek that you can walk across you see in these wide rivers there are spots that you can forge across in a tanker wheeled vehicles and there should be a dirt road or a trail down to that shallow crossing but this would be so cool to have that we could take out bridges so the enemy can’t go across them. The makers of War Thunder said that this was the most realistic game to come out so let’s put some realism in this game!!

Thats why the balance needs to be shifted. It’s called ground battles. Anything air related should be an accessory to the units on the ground. We need proper shields to stop getting molested by the aerial threat.
