I have an ace crew on my premium russian B-25. you can fly behind it in a straight line and my gunners will just shoot all their ammo without hitting you, well maybe a couple of hits at best (with a measure of luck)

I have flown my fair share of bombers, and shot down a handful of players, 90% of the time my wing or tail gets sheered off with a burst of machine gun fire from the enemy plane. And when flying a fighter? I rarely die to bombers, I usually just shoot them down 90% of the time. Your complaint is just a major example of skill issue.

No it does not mean that. For all we know he could have expert crew for ground/naval because player can get to lvl 100 in and of game modes possible.

yes, but not sufficiently. Maps are small. So before U reach enemy bober he is far away.
If you got shot down by a bomber in a fighter, there is only one reason for: YOU.
There are very rare situations you are forced to kill bombers. And instead of whining, maybe you have to overthink your tactic.
One exception are maps with killable airfields. But over years I can’t remember a battle this happened to me.

Not unless you just fly directly forward when you spawn. Side climb and when you finally encounter the bomber you will be on the same level AND have greater speed.
As others have said, 9 times out of 10 the bombers are shot down by fighters. It’s not even close.
You need to change your tactics.

You should learn how to properly engage bombers.
Never go in with the same energy as the bomber. Always have an altitude or enormous speed advantage.
You want to make it so you have a 1 second window to shoot and the bomber needs to turn their gunner to hit you. This is best achieved by coming in from above and the sides for most cases. Certain late-war bombers require a low front assault instead.
Rear assaults are also possible but you most have enormous speed to have maximum possible closure (difference between your speed and the target’s speed - describes how quickly you reduce space between the two of you).
I fly SB EC. I am forced into first person view and joystick gunnery. My only issue with bombers is IFF and the fact that the gunners retain too much accuracy while the plane is spinning or on fire.
With third person and mouse aim bombers should be zero issues to you - it’s the main contribution in fact to why they’re so impotent and incapable.
Since people are shilling their own clips, I’ll take the opportunity to do the same.
