they arent getting PIDS

“the US is optaining similar pylons for their aging F-16s”

unless you know what those “similar” pylons are you are out of luck because the US isnt buying PIDS

To me at least, it looks like American F-16s with PIDS

Looks more like PIDSU/PIDSU FUM rather than PIDS+, which is 3 additional AN/ALE-47 bins per wing but no MAWS.

F-16C missing PIDSU countermeasures pylon

Next up we have confirmation from Terma, on their official website, that they have signed a contract to provide PIDS pylons to US F-16s, along with another website with some more information on the contracts:
New advanced pylons for US Air National Guard F-16 fighter aircraft
Air Force F-16s Are Getting Pylons With Built-In Missile Warning Sensors And Countermeasures

It’s to be fitted to select aircraft, but I’m yet to see anything confirming explicitly that they are intended for the Block -50 Airframes (as they should have the extra to CM dispensers over the earlier block 3x & -4x airframes). of the photographic evidence only assorted block -25,-3x, & -4x have been seen. But nothing explicitly would discount their fitting as they are also operated by the Air National Guard. but until we get unit confirmation we’re unlikely to get strict confirmation.

From memory there is also a MWS as an option for one of the various podded Jammers that the F-16 can carry as well, but IIRC it’s not used by the US.

And various references to some test case that the AAR-57 was required to have growth potential for use on tactical aircraft up the F-16 (as is found currently on the A-10C), but only in tertiary sources so far.

The CMWS system demonstrated the ability to defend a platform during live-fire tests against a QF-4 drone at White Sands. The tests took place in March 2002. The system was configured as it would be on an F-16 fighter and flown against a total of eight man-portable air defense (MANPAD) missiles. Reports declared the tests 100 percent successful.
