Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornet - Technical Data and Discussion

Super Hornets don’t appear to equip unguided rockets IRL. Gaijin seem to have wrongly assumed they do because the legacy Hornet did.
The only “fix” available would be to remove them from the Super Hornet, not to unrealistically cant the pylons inwards so they fire straight

this is probably the solution looking at the f111f massacre

That is quite literally correct the superhornet has the pylons canted outwards for aerodynamic reasons
They dont use dumb fire rockets for that very reason but gaijin added them to it for fun

Super Hornet AARGM

would be nice for the Rhino

it will suck, gaijin will add it without the mmw making it defacto copy paste.

either way it gets improved GPS and “improved ARH” over the AARGM (which might have improved passive seeker from AGM-88C) so its still an upgrade

AARGM-ER for F/A-18E

this is undeniably a huge upgrade though
@Zannafrancy

yeah definetly

yet another major update without IRST pod

looks like the devs saw it

please add 4x AIM-424 to weapons

The navy airforce vs the navy surface fleet is such stark contrast in how they develop stuff.
Also that looks like a proper HGV not just a tbm they name “hypersonic” as a buzzword like recently keeps happening

Horner got AARGM-ER
