For now it’s only classified as “F” though. I don’t think its main role will be Air to Ground but it will certainly be able to carry at the very least JDAMs and GBUs.
One thing I wonder is will it even have Beast mode?
remember f15e is also still classified as f
f/a seems to be more limited to navy planes

Mockup? CSAF confirmed at least 2 if not 3 X-planes flying for half a decade at this point.

honestly very interested in F/A-XX income at this point…
If they are able to blend the canards into the leading edge of the wing, in a similar way that the F-22 blends it’s horizontal stab into the trailing edge of the wing, I can understand it.
But from the aspect of availability, it would have to provide exceptional performance ans short field potential to make it worth it IMO.

It didn’t look like the canards move in the render, they appear to be fixed in position I can only assume is stealthiest
