Maybe AMRAAM AXE then?
For now it’s only classified as “F” though. I don’t think its main role will be Air to Ground but it will certainly be able to carry at the very least JDAMs and GBUs.
One thing I wonder is will it even have Beast mode?
remember f15e is also still classified as f
f/a seems to be more limited to navy planes
How tf are computers gonna recover from flatspin if there is no rudder
Oh Yeah that’s true. I can’t wait to have more news on this thing!
fluid dynamics magic
Classified but magic
Mockup? CSAF confirmed at least 2 if not 3 X-planes flying for half a decade at this point.
Everything I’ve found suggests 2-300mil per airframe.
That’s also what I found yeah… makes you wonder what kind of technologies are on that thing.
honestly very interested in F/A-XX income at this point…
If they are able to blend the canards into the leading edge of the wing, in a similar way that the F-22 blends it’s horizontal stab into the trailing edge of the wing, I can understand it.
But from the aspect of availability, it would have to provide exceptional performance ans short field potential to make it worth it IMO.
Nope. The X-planes were flying since at least 2020, well before any chinesium slop
Unlikely they are going to purchase a European weapon. LREW is going to fulfill that bracket anyway.
That’s true.
How does the F-35 do it despite being an unstable design: computers.
It didn’t look like the canards move in the render, they appear to be fixed in position I can only assume is stealthiest
I think they will use CCA for that
