If they are able to blend the canards into the leading edge of the wing, in a similar way that the F-22 blends it’s horizontal stab into the trailing edge of the wing, I can understand it.
But from the aspect of availability, it would have to provide exceptional performance ans short field potential to make it worth it IMO.

It didn’t look like the canards move in the render, they appear to be fixed in position I can only assume is stealthiest
