It is said that production begins immediately and it will be flown under Trump’s presidency so yeah I wouldn’t be surprised. I would be interested in knowing unit cost though.

tbf, doesnt j20 have a traditional tail and canards, while this only has canards

i think its “Canards” will help it reach high speed wihtout Vertical Stabilizer
Yeah I’m sure the fact its missing a traditional tail makes the canards less impactful.
I mean, it has even less control surfaces, assuming it still has ailerons it has a total of 4 vs the 6 on f22/35 or 8 on the j20.

I wish they could keep them… but since the production lines were closed a while ago they’ll most probably end up in long-term storage alongside the F-117s

nope, thats literally illegal, probably gonna stay in service to the end of life, because even though this aims to replace them there probably wont be enough before f22s age out
