The ammunition on the BMPT is segmented so that it all doesn’t cook off at once unlike a few of the other autocannon weapon platforms like the CS/SA5 or Bradleys.
Taking out the string in to turret doesn’t cause that much damage to the feed system nor does it really cook off the entire ammo store. It’s a great design overall.
But this is a game, and it’s impossible to recreate all real-world problems in a game. Players just want to experience what we hope for.
Another reason is that it’s a Soviet vehicle, so it should be powerful.
I wish it had APFSDS too, then it could even go to 11.0, I wouldn’t mind, but Gaijin probably won’t give it to us, they didn’t even give us the simultaneous firing of both cannons.
I mean, if it gets apfsd it should go 12.0. Its absolutely busted at its BR right now. Flat pen doesnt mean much when its fire rate is so high and its armor so trolly. It literally just tracks and barrel brakes tanks in 2 seconds if you use it right.
It should be 11.3 as it is.
Also, it needs its turret traverse drive fixed so it takes the correct amount of damage, its turret basket, an autoloader thats side correctly, and atgms that explode when shot.
so then make the damn PREM BMPT-72 12.0 and give it the damn 30mm APSDS rounds if there so scared of it being so over powered like then we could be able to use both guns for the and the for Tec tree version of the BMPT make it 10.7 or 11.0 like damn then its would be a playable tank
