BMPT/72 Should not be 10.3

Go touch the grass.

Its just a russian bias. They are shit irl, so they need safe space where they shine…

I haven’t played the Ajax enough yet to form a fully conclusive opinion, however I’m at least mostly convinced that it’s not DOA either. Performance wise it feels fine so far, it will only get better once they move the BMPT up further.

I disagree hard with calling the Booker DOA though, that thing is really fun and incredibly potent at 10.7. It could even be argued that it’s slightly undertiered and should be 11.0, however I’m not sure if I’d fully agree.

Same,
BMPT - at least 11.3 like the Israeli high tier “light” vehicles like Namer, my opionion 12.0 - OR give it apds → 13.0, compared to all other “light” vehicles in this BR range (10.7) it feels off the most
2S38 - was always between 11.0 and 12.0 like HVTSL but taking into account that the HVTSL has less modeld weak spots, 11.7
T-80UD, either give all MBTs on 10.7 the better APDFS, like DM33, M900, etc. or move it to 11.0

And smth in general,

I have in general the feeling that the way tanks, vehicles, aircrafts and ships is not valid in the way the game is played and designed due to it damage model and pace.
When I’m looking at the most vehicles, it feels when you have a match maker that is limited to ±0.3 suddently most of the matches would be way more balanced and as I see it so far, in the long run this will happen depending if all is considered reasonably. And yes there are still tanks that have unique powers like ultra strong armor or fast auto loader and performing in the other categories like firepower, mobility etc. the same compared to the tanks in their BR but still it feels way more reasonable to compete with tanks 0.3 higher or lower off my BR.

The game has really become unplayable. I unlocked the M10 Booker and 95% of the time I end up playing against Russia; the “terminators” wipe out the entire team in the first few minutes. I gave up on the battle pass and I’m not even going to do the cristmas event. This end of the year feels very unbalanced and saturated, it’s time to play other games and forget about Warthunder for a while.

Don’t see Gaijin adding it to 11.3 mostly because it lacks FnF missiles, even though this thing is def more of a threat than the Namer which has worse survivability

A game recently made for one nation.
It’s become ridiculous and unplayable. It’s an overkill that only aims to ruin the game in one way. Even when playing as the Russian nation, why are you playing against the Russians? Because everyone wants to play only one nation, because the others don’t stand a chance. The game will end when a similar game like World of Tanks has only a small number of players left, and that’s it. This game had potential.

Fnf atgms are arguably worse in most situations and against most targets, that is when they actually hit center mass and not the tip of the tracks (also spikes have pitiful HE mass, russian atgms dont even need to penetrate to kill), and high rof on an auto-cannon is always better than having slightly more pen since you are more likely to find a hole in the armor and can break barrels faster. If Gaijin thinks the Namer and Puma are worth 11.0/11.3 then the BMPT/72 should be 12.0+ …

Defiently not DOA, but Ajax is 100% infuriating to try and play when you face a wall of BMPTerrors

Just a shame that after finally getting something onpar with other nations, and rough balance would have been acheived. Gaijin moves the goalpost once again

And what do you expect from a creator who promotes the nation they come from? They want to show that this nationality is the best, only to ruin the game in the process.

Eh… By that logic the HSTVL shouldnt be 12.0.

I think 11.0/11.3 would be more than fine because Spikes are tempromental at best and the high speed speed beamrider that can be fired on the move is probably better overall. Besides the new Boxer is getting FnF at 10.7. Doesnt mean the BMPT needs a BR drop

Yeah… that has been apparent for years

This game will end the same way as similar ones. Only a handful of players will remain. And as soon as a competing game comes out, maybe they’ll wake up, and sooner or later, a game like this will come out.

The HSTVL isn’t meant to be included in that logic since it’s a different type of vehicle while the BMPT are Namer are pretty much Heavy IFVs

Eitherway, i would rather fight the HSTVL’s since i can actually kill that thing with ease
Hell, the HSTVL has a high chance of not penning the BMPT’s LFP point blank

I hope DCS and GHPC takes over the market. They’re both too sim but at least they aim for realism.

“But just ammo rack its 30mm belt”

It’s a bit easier than you’d expect actually, but it’s still an outragious thing to suggest lol

After facing them a bit more, I’d put the BMPT-72 (premium) at 11.0 because of it’s worse survivability and fewer crew, and the BMPT at 11.3/11.7, or 12.0 with Kornet ATGMs. The premium one isn’t that hard to kill, but it’s the TT one that I have the most issues with.

Russian bias does not exist.

11.3 is a bit much. If it was up to me:

T-80UD → 10.7
2S38 → 11.0
BMPT → 11.0
BMPT-72 → 11.7 (Added APFSDS)

There’s already a T-80 in the TT at 10.7 with worse armor. The engine is slightly less powerful but that doesn’t exactly justify it being in the range to get downtiered to 9.3 with kontakt-5

2S38 is on the level of RDFLT/OTOMATIC but larger profile than RD. No radar and less pen than OTO.

BMPT is just a 12.7 chassis with spall liners at 10.7. A 11.0 BR should be fine and APFSDS on the newer version would just be nice to have.

Does the Premium BMPT explode more often via 30mm belt than the tech tree BMPT or not?
