BMPT/72 Should not be 10.3

I’ve been confused by their decision since dev server, but I still haven’t the slightest clue how stop being confused.
I’d comment on it if I wasn’t confused.

Maybe I need to see the inside of a BMPT’s turret?

Cause every bit of conventional knowledge I have is telling me that ammo should be part of the crew compartment.

I think it’s crazy this lineup.

Can fight against this lineup.

(yeah my Japan 9.3 is a bit thin) but still, BMPTs, T-80UDs and 2S38s realllllly shouldn’t be getting to face stuff like the Type 16 and Type 74. (in my opinion)

It can and does face the amx-30 105. Its a bit silly.

tbh I think everything (except maybe the TURMS-T) can go up a br step and do just fine.

I’ve used the BMP-2M and BMPT-72 a ton in top tier-
And the BMPT-72 I’ve exclusively in top tier since 10.3 Russia is so clogged up rn.

I’m trying to think of ways to justify a BR higher than 10.7, and the 9.7s might convince me, but that could just be the 12.0 decompression needing to impact many to most of the 10.3s - 11.3s now.

Cause I’m starting to think that BMPT is in a compression problem as well as being under-BR’d currently.

I think it’ll do just fine at 12.0, maybe even 12.3 (then again I’ve only ever played it at top tier.)

if it DOES go to 12.3, then it’ll help make a lineup with the T-72B3M and Su-30MK2.

Black Night is just a base CR2 with APS at 12.7 while the base CR2 sits at 11.7, so the APS does definitely affect BR.

T-80UM2 sits at the same BR as the base T-80U, but that is because it trades thermals (iirc) for the APS.

Merkava Mk.4M and VT-4A1 sit at 12.7 while the identical Mk.4B/LIC and VT-4 without APS sit at 12.3 (although both VT-4s are overtiered).

So yeah unless the tank getting APS is a tradeof it does affect it’s BR.

Yeah it doesn’t get thermals, NVD missing because its there by default.

Alvis already wrote almost the exact same comment. We know but weve also established that the APS in fact is not the sole reason for the .6 BR increase and that access to Relict might matter

tbf even as a britbong ill say thats justified any map with a bit of range and for the first 4 shots the blacknight is just immune I really hope at some point in the future we see Ajax with its Iron Fist APS (its gonna be so funny having Iron Fist, and the PSO war kit making you basically the perfect counter to the BMPT assuming that thing gets sent to its deserved BR)

Same way somehow Russian ammo is “wet storage” in the carousel. When it’s really not. And their fuel is supposedly “less likely to explode”. We’ve left the realm of reality for Russian toptier some time ago, and now it’s just whatever Gaijin feels like.

Same for other nations, but in reverse.

The first four/five in that line up all should go up one step, some two steps. And the BMPT-75 straight up can go up more than a whole BR. Because going up one BR would put it at the same as the Namer and PUMA VJTF which are both straight up much worse in terms of armor, missile, and armament due to the double guns.

I agree, except the TURMS-T.

It’s still a T-72A, Just a T-72A with Contact-1, Mango, and a good sight.
The rest can move up.

Exactly Namer being called most protected light tank is a joke and the easiest light tank to ammo rack

So even the second report got shut down, i know the word bias is thrown around lightly but in this case i literally have no other explanation, the belts literally go into the hull, this is just cope on the devs part to make the tank artificially strong because it’s a russian premium.

Its becoming like world of tanks with the release of OP pay to win tanks…

I’d argue the TURMS-T is still as good as the 10.7 Leo 2. Which isn’t all that great.

Bro, not from now … :)

Waiting only for “premium ammo” update :)

“not a bug” lmao what a great line of reasoning there. Why even bother with the bug report forum at this point when the agenda is so obvious
