The fact that this is the same BR as the Ajax is just stupid. I haven’t found a good way to take these out execpt lucky shots from across the map to its side.
I’ve has shots pen its ammo and did nothing, shots through its missiles and do nothing but make them red. hell I even had 1 round bouce off the missile doing little to no damage before it killed me.
Literally pixel hunting to kill it while it just sprays you down breaking everything and launching ATGM’s at you. Gayjin, its December, april fools was months ago. This aint even funny anymore, its pure 100% russian bias at its best. You have completely ruined arguably the most favourite BR range for most of us 10.3-10.7, Only people having any “fun” ( i say this while they fight over kills ) is the RU team

So for the balancing team PUMA, PUMA VJTF, Vilkas , Jaguar , Ajax, Freccia , KF41 are the same or better than the BMPT. The BMPT has 2 decent guns with 850 rounds, if you take 1 gun out you can still shot with the other same has if it overheats. It has 4 missiles that can be fired on the move, are tandem and have 800mm of pen. The armor is top tier level with spall liners and Relikt that can block side shots with the down side of being tall and has the tipical Soviet/Russian reverse speed. I think Gaijin forgot that the PUMA, AJAX and the Vilkas are the same BR because they have apfsds. The PUMA VJTF, Jaguar, Freccia and the KF41 have spikes, probably the most random missile in the game, apfsds rounds and lack on armor compared to the bmpt but because they have spikes and apfsds they are 11.0 (+2 BRs compared to the BMPT).
As someone said the BMPT HAS NO TURRET BASKET, Gaijin added turret baskets to every new tank in the last updates, other tanks with autoloaders have turret baskets why doesnt the BMPT have it ?? Could that be what a lot of people thing ??

its also basically impossible to damage the autoloader as the module is so small and deep in the hull.

I didnt even talked about the autoloader because its easier to hit the ammo than the autoloader it self. The autoloader only covers 1/3 of the ammo. Looks like a finished model but made intentional
Check out where the crew are seated. There so low they must be sat on the floor as there is no way there is space for the seats. Also having ERA that deep into the tank would instantly kill the driver if it went off after been struck. Absoltely no way is that realistic at all
excpt hitting the ammo does nothing. Myself and 2 other have tried, HESH / HE / APFSDS and nothing caused the ammo to detonate, not even the missiles would go bang.
its modelling is very much a polished product, with all of its benefits most likley intentional
its most recently added peer OF THE SAME BR has to pixel snipe weakspots to pray it damages anything
the traditional T64 family weakspot also has a billion miles of armour on it now
also what’s up with the ERA behind the storage boxes on the turret, would that not destroy any of the contents of those boxes if it got hit?
As something who now has the Ajax and working on spading it, I can tell you will full confidence, every single green area you see there will do very little to stop the tank killing you, if it already hasn’t. Ajax can fend off its APDS on the upper hull but they shoot for your gun and pen/kill you there and 90% of the time an ATGM is on its way and well that can kill most 10.7 MBT’s frontally with no issues at all or need to aim

Yes, including the 2S38 T80UD, they should all have a weight of 10.7 or higher, but it’s clear the developers didn’t intend for them to be, because they wanted a strong Russian presence in the game.

Absolutely, ERA when it goes off is very very violent, its even dangerous to be stood too close to it. Anything infront of it would be ripped apart by the blast alone
it was a joke about the autoloader being only 1 line. Im playing Italy 9.3 and 10.7 and I can say the BMPT tanks side shots with 105 dm33 and disables my 2a4 with a little burst to the front of the tank and the worse part is you cant see anything and unlike other ifvs that you shoot center mass when you are getting spammed, here you cant shoot center mass because it will tank the round.
im amost at ajax and im not looking forward to fighting the BMP and BMPT spam of the BR at all.
