Increasing the br to the highest is of upmost priority to save as many lower br vehicles as possible.
They can move it as high as they want, aslong as they arent willing to change the damage-model, nothing will change.
I don’t have the Puma but I can attest on how the Namer’s turret disappeared after getting a less than a second burst. Haven’t tested the Tsrikhon though, probably can stop the ATGMs at least, or not if the player has a brain big enough to know where the APS is. Not gonna lie, 11.3 for the BMPT is unfair as it doesn’t really have a “penalty” over it, many other Tank Destroyers are either slow, heavy, super weak or something in between, however this one’s busted on all sides besides I guess reversing? (Not that you need to do so anyway).
yea 2A4s with DM23 cant do much at all to this thing if they dont get lucky or the BMPT is already disabled by like 7 other shots from different tank. And people saying “just shoot LFP” doesnt work when im hull down or keep shooting your leopard so that so much dust gets kicked up you cant see anything or just break the barrel
Additionally i can count on one hand how many times in this thing ive exploded to the “internal” belts detonating… its one time.
If the turret belts actually detonated than you could make an argument that the BR of 11.3 or 11.7 is sufficient since on average you get hit in the belts a lot. But since they are made out of magical quantum tunneling ammo its really just an inconvenience.
The BMPT will erase any IFV becuase it has better armor, RoF, and missiles than any nato IFVs
I mean they’re outliers in many regards because the BMPT’s are the most broken vehicles they have added thus far. The fact that someone thought 10.3 was a reasonable BR initially is just so beyond me.
Even 8.3 Puma is a joke in comparison because that thing was atleast easy to disable with anything (>=20mm APDS or any HEAT rounds) and very vulnurable to KE.
its 11.3 now. although just had 2 10.3 games full of them.
Just play 10.0 and below. Gaijin is almost at their sale benchmark.
I’ll always think it should just be 12.7 with APFSDS.
The first and only Top Tier-worthy AFVs, at last.
12.0 uptier btw
To be fair i did die twice in the BMPT, once after getting caught out of position and second time after killing 4 tanks before finally dying to a challenger that manifested from the wall. That being said, the fact you can use better CAS now without any BR penalty… well i give it like 1 or 2 days before you start seeing 11.3 games with BMPT, Ka50 and Su39. Good luck
…
10.7 will still suffer a lot because if you’re uptiered by +1 BR then there will technically be no limit for 11.3 (+0.7 BR) vehicles in the match.
[The only limit is how many ppl play them and teamsize -2 because one person has to be 10.7 and the other 11.7 with their lineups]
This was already a major issue with Fuji back when it was 11.3 and just got to stomp 10.7.
(Its still undertiered but atleast you can only face 4 players with 11.7 lineups when you play 10.7)
At that time, the German guns that stand on Vilkas and Puma.
No matter what BR you place the BMPT Terminator on, it will always be OP.
it never operated apfsds, apds was its main round against armor
i dont understand why something as basic as autocannon accuracy is standardized this much.
i agree but a 12.7 br would be good for everyone, put the tt one at 12.7 with apfsds and the bmpt72 at 12.0
The problem is that Gaijin is simply stupid for adding the vehicle in the first place, they can’t be balanced without making it terrible since the protection is to good and the fact these bmpt NPCs can now take on vehicles like the HSTVL and the RDF-LT, which pose no threat to them is the cherry in top. thanks Gaijin im expecting the Giraffe next since being unkillable hulldown is apparently okay now
Internal ATGMs lol
they need to change its bellts to internal, thats one of the main problems
if its hull down you cant kill it at all
