Like I keep reminding everyone: when you are doing Protection Analysis on the TT BMPT (and you have not played/ground out its mods yet) keep in mind that it does not even have its Extra ERA yet! It gets MUCH WORSE! 🤣

I’m still shocked that the destroying the belts don’t take away ammo, you can physically see the belts get destroyed, why isn’t it treated like first stage ammo? At least for the 100 or so rounds for the belt that is suspended in the middle of the hull.
OH interesting. So, the extra ERA did effect that shot/replay, just not showing it modeled. Interdasting.
Though, unless the BMPT didn’t have its extra ERA yet either, in which case again, it will be WORSE once the player unlocks the mod 😂

I run the BMPT in my 12.0 line up. I’m not a skilled player but I do just as good with it as some 12.0 vehicles I use. I never used it at 10.3 or 10.7. I think it could easily go up to 11.3 or 11.7. The fact that I have faced it while driving a R400 or FV4030/3 is just something that shouldn’t happen.

Just dawned on me, the BMP-T is the test for the T-14.
The turret is crewless
The hull armour is near impenetrable (you all thought you would just shoot a T-14 in the side and collect all 3 crew members.) Well the BMP-T with it’s armour has shown that is not possible.
Yes the T-14 will have a singular breach and you will hopefully be able to damage that breach…
But the hull the survivability the unmanned turret it is for the T-14 and T-15
nothing screams russian bias when 2x spikes hit top of gun breaches of BMPT and do exactly ZERO DAMAGE meanwhile he fires few shots, hits CCTV and disable whole turret on Boxer CRV…

ahhh yes the quantum soviet technology. It’s like Schrödinger’s cat…is the crew there or not? The dart piercing the spall liner, damaging the track on the opposite side, but the crew unscathed.

Quick nitpick correction, the BMPT (and M1128 MGS/Expeditionary Tank) is a overhead/low profile turret (crew inside turret but weapon systems above their heads, crew rotates with weapons and turret). Proper unmanned turrets are on the PUMA and VBCI MCT30 (nobody rotating with the turret or weapon systems)
If Gaijin goes and drops the T-14 they also have no excuse to also give NATO the comparable vehicles they produced anyway. Say hello to KF51-U, Leo A-RC 3.0 and M1 TTB. Probably more I can’t remember rn.
