It literally has the same hull and ERA config as the T-72B3 and T-90M respectively.
And unlike those, it has an unmanned turret that is very hard to disable… At least with either of those other tanks you can fairly easily destroy barrel or gun breach.

True, if this was reality. we’d have ERA perforating rounds that would entirely and completely nullify soviet ERA, instead in war thunder, its an unpentrable super armour, capable of stopping anything, including tandem charge ATGMs.
It is exceedingly small target that I find only gets disable about 10% of the time. Even as annoying as the 2S38 is, a hit to the turret disables it, no matter what. I nailed a BMPT turret with 2x L27A1 in the Chally 2, nothing, it kept firing.
Move the Premium BMPT to 11.0 or 11.3
Move the TT BMPT to 11.7 or 12.0 (with buffs)
and it would be a LOT more balanced than it is right now sub 11.0.
My previous encounters:
1.BMPT:covered lower front plate it took 3 guys to finally kill it
2.BMPT: 3 DM33 105 side shots did nothing.Other guys’s shot finally killed
3.BMPT: 5 M830 of M1A1 to non era blocked places did nothing.Finally died
4.BMPT:Only turret was seen.Side turret shot did not kill only took the ammo away.
So this thing mostly takes more than one guy to kill.
And i saw guys killing 9 guys without dying with no effort even the new guys who bought premium
If you see two of them at same point consider yourself dead.

I think both should move the same BR because there is no difference particular.11.7 or 12.0 could be better

The crew count difference is notable, the TT one is a lot more survivable, so give it ATGM buff and/or round buff, it could comfortably sit higher still
