honnestly, i have no hopes anymore for this game. I stick at low br where the game still works a bit and that’s quite it
Modern tech is fine, as long as the estimates etc are done with fairness across all vehicles and nations.
It’s not an issue of modern tech, it’s an issue of trying to make the financials look better after a bad year for player numbers.
Yes, well, in a way they would be higher BR weapons. What I mean is that there are several vehicles with similar BR weapons. As I said before, in my opinion, very modern IFVs should have a BR increase, improving or worsening the accuracy of their autocannons compared to how they are in reality, giving missiles better damage in general, and making enemy detection more important. Larger maps would also be interesting, so that these IFVs could maneuver and find areas to fight in.
I’ve always thought that the crew health upgrade should be removed and replaced with reaction time after your vehicle is penetrated, so that when you’re penetrated, the crews inside would experience several seconds of disorientation.

But I dont think the issue is firepower though.
Its survivability.
Any IFV can be taken out by pretty much anything hitting anywhere, unless its got a remote turret, then you are forced to hit the body not the turret.
BMPT has top tier armour and a remote turret, it just cant be reliably killed by anything at its BR. If you go around the corner in something like an Ajax and the BMPT is coming the other way, its not a question of who can react first. Its a question of how quickly will the BMPT kill the Ajax. heck, you cant even reliably disable its turret like you can with the 2S38. If you could hit the turret and disable it in one shot, youd at least have a somewhat chance

But when I see folks getting 4.0KDs with stuff like the T58 yet they can’t get positive in other tanks of the same BR it raises eyebrows.

japan when the F2 was added broke ARB and had changes implemented across the board if I remember rightly.
m1 abrams when added completely destroyed how the BRs worked as well and how match making worked.

It was for years. It was added in 2021. It was OP until mid 2023/early 2024 when they finally added counters and buffed everyone else by adding things like spall liners.
But the ERA on soviet vehicles is still BS. It blocks tandem warheads.

I remember when they moved the centurion and co up in br after having them be 6.7 what? Over a year lmao. And all the crying that British mains did saying that the centurion was useless now.
Alot of French 7.7 vehicles are insanely good and its amazing how many people just write them off and the second you even suggest they are anything but bad you have a riot.

Spikes seem to blow up BMPT’s fairly well.
I do believe it will be moved up in BR though, just not as high as people desire.
That will always happen; when a tank that is too good in the BR it’s in is changed, there will always be people crying when they change its BR to a more reasonable one.
