The T-90M hull is still using the T-72B composite array.
The T-90M’s turret however is the best in the Soviet tech tree 2nd to none.
While BMPT’s turret is a significant 100mm weakspot; 550mm, and 650mm thick elsewhere.
T-90M’s is over 900mm, over 200mm, and an almost non-existent turret right weakspot.

One of the T-72Bs has K5, and both BMPT and T-72B K5 protect against DM53 at medium ranges.
The array itself protects against most rounds at 10.0 - 11.0.
Also dude… the BMPT’s offensive gun is on the BMP2 at 8.7.
And the ATGM’s 800mm of pen is equated or improved across a number of vehicles, including BMP3.
Not a single 10.3 cannon-missile vehicle in the game has weapons equivalent to BMPT’s, they’re all better.
The post you quoted is missing the other BRs of 10.0 and 10.7 I apparently forgot to type in, it’s fixed now.
Out of the 4 autocannon ATGM carrying vehicles at 10.3, 2 are using missiles of top-attack with 200mm or 1200mm penetration.
And at 10.7, you get 5/5 with Spike missiles.
Of the 5 at 10.0, all have APFSDS, and similar performing missiles.
This is why I say the armor is the reason its BR should be higher.

Huh? 8.7 bmp2 has only 500mm of pen without tandem. TT BMPT has 800m pen with tandem, also 4 rounds not just 1 like the bmp2.
I think you mean to compare it with the 10.3 BMP-2M, which also has 4 of those 1200mm pen missiles.
Everyone knows spikes are really underperforming, you need like 2-3 to kill 1 mbt. All because it doesnt have top attack feature and with side shots it just goes for the frontal track or barrell, or the top mg.
So you need 12.7 shells to pen it?

Yes but there are literally 10.3 vehicles that only have a cannon and no missiles.
Like i said a couple times already the weaponry is sufficient and fits 10.3 its not the reason it should go up but paring these weapons with top tier protection and an unmanned turret is very much a reason

105/120 mm too difficult to pen a bmpt frontally, almost impossible in hot situations. Such a small weakspot even from a closer view.
Top tier DM53 has a little more ease at pennetrating it. But as you can see not much difference.
At least has some % to go through the ERA block, not like early 120mm or late 105mm rounds.
This is actually the first time I see a claim that diesel fuel tanks are modelled with less probability to be exploded. I thought they were the same in the game.
Wet storage of shells? Are russian tankers just huffing raw diesel fumes the entire time??
I mean technically 550mm pen shells already become pretty common around 11.7, with a whole bunch of them also appearing between 10.0 and 11.3.
Also as you can see even if you pen it, post pen damage sometimes not that great, compared when you shoot a mbt through the neck it most of the times kill everything in the turret.
10.0 - 11.0 has over 10? tanks with the pen.
M60 AMBT, Sabra Mk1, 120S, M1128 x2, ZTZ-96A x2, ZTZ-99 x2, M10 Booker, and an honorable mention to LOSAT.

And as for Spikes not fragging tanks… they very much are fragging tanks right now consistently with one missile from what I’ve witnessed. I’ve been seeing that killfeed in many matches recently.

Also front-aspect only shots are typically on large maps.
I haven’t been getting Sands of Sinai, Red Desert, Fields of Normandy, etc recently to see only front armor of BMPTs.

B3A has APS causing its BR change.
AJAX has 3x the pen of with lower shatter angles.

Weird APS doesnt seem to affect BR at all for the Challengers for example let alone justifies a .6 jump. neither does it for the T80UM2

As a Namer player highly doubt it most of your kills with spikes were 1 shot, only against light armored tanks, but mbts like leopard?? doubt.
Ok so leopard 2a7 should go to 10.3 - 11.3 because its easy to kill from the sides, but difficult from the front?

Ground launched FnF are unreliable as hell tho, they work quite well against lightly armored vehicles, but otherwise they work like 1/3 times, and the Jaguar for exemple got only 4 missiles onboard, making them a backup or a last resort at best

No need to tell me i spaded my Puma VJTF against my better judgement but FnF missiles are still a big boon compared to beam riding ones that expose you to enemy fire
So what about everyone else? There is more than 10 MBTs the BMPT can see.
And thats just at 10.X. Ive been playing CR1, with 400mm of pen of late (L23A1)
I cant even imagine what the hell a 9.3 is meant to do against a BMPT

I mean namers armour is hugely under performing as was proven years ago.
8.7 i think on the shturm they’re found.
however they are extremely fast as well for the BR.
BMP3 should be 9.7 easily but, and thats from having experience with the thing.
Also BMPT has gen 2 thermals on commander and gnner sights.
TBh this I gotta agree with 100 percent, they really gotta start taking a look at the BRs better when adding a lot of vehicles, they just kinda throw em in there RN and hope for the best. T58 being one such case in recent memory I have.
