Shoots ATGM into one of the most well protected CE plates
“Why didn’t it pen?”

You forgot to mention it was tandem warhead that failed to penetrate the weaker point of armor.

Man gotta love the excuse for BS protection.

With a tandem warhead specifically built to ignore said plate

And because its a stat reliant on lineups we can just ignore it? Nah you have to look at it and figure out why the lineup at a certain BR is performing to insanely well compared to others. And im pretty sure russian 11.7 was not performing super well due to the TOR.

Coulda, shoulda, woulda. Its not happening atm so the BR needs to be balanced around that and not some hypothetical additions in the future.

Yeah loads of everything, because like i said the tech tree BMPT alone is spammed like crazy

Thats an explanation, not an excuse for terrible balancing.

fire whoever came up with the bmpt in this game.

Im sorry but the BMPT and its variants are to busted still even with the BR increase and they should not be allowed in the sim line up

Relikt is designed to counter tandem warheads. It doesn’t work exactly like other ERA plates.

So far this is just a claim from Russia and we yet to see any proof that shows it can counter Tandem Warhead.

Even ongoing conlifct on Ukraine hasn’t showed us single proof that Relikt is capable of stopping Tandem warheads which makes me question the claim in the first place.

Are the double flyer plates and heavier construction not proof enough?

So in that case should we believe mockup KH-38MT is completely real with its ingame features?

What kind of stupid statement is this?

KH-38MT has nothing to do with this. Its pretty well documented that Relikt works quite a bit differently to other ERA plates. Through common sense with how tandem warheads and ERA works, you can infer that it probably has anti-tandem function.
On a sidenote, I think someone managed to dig up a photo of KH-38MT, with the labelling being written on the side.

Yeah document talks about how it works under ideal conditions which doesnt translate into real life, thats why we haven’t seen single Relikt that can stop tandem warhead so far.

Yea, a photo of mockup 38MT.

Spare me that BS please as the community already passed that stage.

The devs have assured us that this is a primary source.

I’m not too invested in the KH-38MT talk but was it this?

Spoiler

What exactly would change? Would 1 flyer plate randomly disappear? Would the TNT equivalent shrink? What do you mean? Also afaik Relikt has not failed in terms of UFP protection.

See how you dont get access to seeker and only the fusalege of the missile?

I can just shove hypersonic ICBM missile’s mockup in here and call it real in that case.

Even if we assume 38MT is real its performance exceeds its real life countepart, in real life its suppose to have Shitty gen1 thermals where it cannot even identify tanks until 1.5km and cant certainly track them through 15km’s.

38 family designed to destroy bunkers and heavy consctructions alongside with vessels iirc, they didn’t get designed for Anti tank roles.

Gaijin has enough money to purchase Relikt and use an entity to test the effectiveness.

In all seriousness the problem with Relikt is the protection figure for KE and CE is taken from an angled hit iirc. However due to how ERA is modeled that protection is the same at a flat angle.

I don’t speak russian or have access to the pdf unfortunately however:

This is also the case for HAMMER, which can only lock tanks at 1.5km too.
