Oh not another top tier god gamer with precise aim that never misses a shot! Comes to your aid in the battlefield in the open against another BMPT hull down 200 meters away “Don’t worry H_ngma_, I brought HE rounds or HESH rounds like a pro gamer because I now know they fixed the ammo belt and linked them together and can easily kill him from 200 meters with my reload speed of 6ish seconds in my leopard 2A7V.” Being a non blind, no hesitant German main (Miracle of god sent teammate). He jumps in front of you takes aim and destroys the BMPT. And that’s if you didn’t smoke up the battlefield like most germans do after getting hit.
BMPT cannot be balanced nor is a rework going to make the tank any better at killing it without still relying on sheer luck or even perfect patience which most players don’t have.
Dude they are not going to remove it. You can post the current damage model as often as you want as long as we dont have a belt fix no one can for sure say what the impact is.
Why do you think is no other vehicle with an unmanned turret in the game as broken as the BMPT?
They can remove if they know it’s unbalanced enough. Happened in the past can happen again. It’s just going to take a long time. Even queues at 12.7 speak for themselves about the BMPT
Never because something was unbalanced, only if something was fake.
The only exception is the partial removal of the Maus but they are 100000% not going to remove their cashcow/pamper mobile.
Would be more balanced than BMPT. One Cannon shot that and you can just make sure you dodge ATGMs. BMPT? Shot one gun just switch to your second and keep blasting.
Majority of the time, top tier players lose is they push spawn. Noobs at low tier noobs at top tier, shyt stats and shyt luck being on their team. BMPT just creates the final nail on the coffin for top tier stopped playing it entirely.
That doesn’t matter.
A vehicle would simply need to have ridiculous stats in order to move up more than a full BR.
Have they ever ruled out further changes ?
Them saying: “and the data shows that increasing them by one step is enough at the moment […] Rest assured, we’ll continue to monitor their efficiency and will make further changes if needed.” just looks like a nice way of saying: “Yeah buddy boy, 12.0 is pushing it so go away please and we’ll see what happens in 3 months time.”

One belongs to destroyer of worlds and another belongs to a certain, pretty popular vehicle no one is talking about.
It’s still a metric that’s reliant on lineups more than on anything else.
As an example, Turm III had better individual stats at 8.3 than premium BMPT at 11.3 but still had almost 20% less WR. Can you guess why ?
Is it because BMPTs are some game winning clutch machines or is it because other nations had a lot of things to throw at Turm III at ~8.3 ?
That doesn’t make any sense.
What should happen is other nations getting more vehicles in that BR range to actually have something to spawn in.
And loads of 10.7s seeing how 10.3 - 11.3 BRs exploded in WR right after BMPT was added.
When comparing November to March, some of those BRs received +10% WR, while 12.0 barely moved up.
USSR received four new vehicles at that BR (two BMPTs, B3 Arena and Tor) in a single update, while B3 moved down to 11.3 not long before. US and Germany simply don’t have enough vehicles to counter that, which obviously boosts the WR for the former nation.
