I can’t talk for every nation and every server, but at least for me on EU 10.7 US seems to mostly avoid the brunt of the BMPT spam.
Only downside is that you get uptiered to 11.7 the overwhelming majority of your games though.
I saw a few squads still uptiering their BMPTs to 10.7+ because of queue times with how packed 10.3 is on EU earlier today (5 hours or so ago?) probably depends on time.

Event grinding always brings out the worst, so probably no chance most would give up easier games for just slightly faster queues sadly.

It’s not just the event though is it, it’s the new flavor of the month undertiered, overpowered russian premium tank - and the thing is as with the rest of the russian vehicles for that line up - the damn thing will never get adjusted along with the rest of that line up…that br range is basically dead from the vehicle and the people blindly defending the overpowered vehicle

Yeah its not just the event, its that and the BMPT at the BR range, but during events there are far more coordinated squads and petty players that J out before you shoot them etc. So it just compounds.
Meanwhile, Britain seems to be exclusively matched against the soviets at the moment.

2S38 has been causing issues for years now. With the decompression there is 0 excuse for it to not be 10.7/11.0 at least
Im doubting it will ever get nerfed. probably buffed know gaijins track record with soviet stuff.
The best we can maybe hope for is ERA perforation for western shells, but even that would probably somehow end up as a nerf for non-soviet nations

And while it’s vastly more mobile, it’s not as armored.
Like, I think 10.3 Puma’s worse than BMPT.

It’s one of those situations that its offensive armament is sub-par for the BR, its mobility is average, but its armor is you know… T-72B, I think the best armor at that BR still, if not 2nd best.

I think the armor matters, but that hasn’t typically been the opinion of others; Mobility was usually the argument.
So I think it’s just a weird moment. New vehicle makeup causing a hard guess of where it should be.

Top tier in Sweden, uk, USA, at the leclerc in France, t-80 in ussr and 9.7 in Germany.
But still more than enough to at a bear minimum disable any MBT if not out right kill any MBT fairly easily and what its gun cannot, its ATGMs can.
Given we have far far weaker IFVs at and around the same BR, calling the BMPT “sub-par” in firepower is just being disingenuous
It has the survivability of an MBT, T-series tanks have decent mobility at that BR (sure their reverse speed sucks, but press W = Nuke) and it has a powerful gun and ATGMs. It puts MBTs to shame, let alone any other IFV at that BR, not all of which can match the BMPT in any of those 3 categories, let alone more than 1.

The best we can hope right now is the reduction of sale in the 2S38.
If we want to fix bigger issue , the reduction of sale in all premium across the board.
As of now everytime it sale. 2S38 always dominate the sale chart. Why would they nerf their people claimed to be “cashcow” when the very same people also have the thing in their account ?
For example take British vehicle. Im grinding it , and frankly from the look of all the Chally only one actually worth crewing. The rest are dogshit garbo , their premium reflect that very well. Non of the top of the line Chally deserve to sit in the same br bracket as T90M/8BVM/2A7/SEPV2.
Non of them should be there. But they know that people will ignore these issue , simply major nation still getting good addition in tech tree and especially in premium. Why would they care about Italian Arriete , Japanese Type10/TKX or British Challies when they know. That their playerbase will buy that 70-80 dollar premium at full price(even at half price it still extremely overprice). But sale still up just drop some random dogshit every major for those nation and everyone will be half happy
