I just don’t get it, they’re not playing the game they’re making? The queues in the battles are 5 minutes long… The team gathers 5 by 5… Are they satisfied with this? Playing on 11.7 on Fuji Type 90(B) and Al-Khalid, you have to pick at the BMPT because its “top-tier” armor eats up all the pieces. The website that collects server statistics writes fabulous data… huge win rate and k.d.

Aye, they may move it again without being a BR change as well, like they did a little while ago.
I didn’t think the BMPT was that bad but it genuinely has kicked the bracket to death lol.
It’s quite rare to win without russia in the team.
They could also limit how many per match or some such thing but that’s just not efficient.

Considering BR changes were announced few days ago and BMPT received no changes, I doubt they’ll move it up much more or if any.

It was moved in an out of band update before the normal changes.
That speaks to it being a significant problem and will move again almost certainly unless it receives significant damage model fixes.

And still, with the current state of its “survivability” and the “elf magic armor”, I don’t think this change will make 12.7 enjoyable.

OR! Gaijin could remove the “magic elf armor” properties and make it function like any other IFV. OR! Add the appropriate protection to any other IFV so they can compete at the same level as crap mobile.

Out of 20 13.0 GRB games, 5 of them was played along with Russia.
I lost 11 of them against Russia VS 9 victories, among them 5 victories along with Russia. So basically, Russia won 11+5 = 16 games and NATO won 4 games. Russia has a 80% winrate at 13.0 GRB.
It follows this thread : Russia dominates 12.7 GRB and it is a problem I made this morning, when I was publishing 18 games won by Russia in 13.0 GRB VS 3 games won by NATO, out of 21 13.0 GRB games. Russia had 86% winrate during these 21 first games.
The game is rigged, it is obvious. There is a monumental bias towards Russia at 13.0 GRB (at any BR imo), and the BMPT is just another addition of bias on top of that.
I’m actually thinking about uninstalling and moving on with another game, because meh, if you don’t play Russia, don’t expect to win much games at top tier. It just became frustrating, not pleasant to play anymore. Ivan must have the time of his life though.

But then you’d be creating a system where IFVs become more useful than modern MBTs, basically a game dominated exclusively by this vehicle class, with no real or meaningful way to counter them, unlike real life.
So far, this just looks like straight-up money fishing by Gaijin. They release a very strong vehicle, they know it has an absurd win rate because of bugged armor and internal ammo that should explode and destroy the vehicle, but simply doesn’t detonate.
They’ll milk it for as long as possible while ignoring the players, until they notice they’re losing more players than gaining. Only then will they either fix the vehicle or remove it from the game, compensating players who bought the BMPT-72 with a premium vehicle of their choice (obviously just the vehicle itself, without the extra bonuses that usually come with a full premium pack).

It’s usually better to link to server replays instead of uploading videos, then mention the time an event occurred and let other users view it themselves :) (The server replay can be found on the main War Thunder website, you can filter for battles with your participation).

Reporting anything related to the BMPT is pointless, because whatever you send them will be treated as “working as intended” and not a bug. So yeah, just forget it and accept it like I did a long time ago. I’m only here joking around at this point.
