its the relict, and its been happening for years now.
its one of the reasons you see russian lineups just press w nonstop.
its actually funny that if the t series is facing you diagonaly if you shoot it in the track hes dead most of the times. but if hes a little more angled and you shoot the side 90% of the times the era nullifies a 120mm apfsds…
ERA to gaijin is some secret stop everything piece of equipment made from vibranium. I mean clearly it has to work if Russia puts it on everything right?? Wouldn’t be surprised if the next update includes turret flight capabilities to T80s/72s
I want to convey a very important message to the developers. After raising the BMPT Terminator to a rating of 11.3, it is still imbalanced. With tanks rated at 10.7, you have no chance against this piece of metal. It is necessary to raise the BMPT to at least 11.7, or even 12.0, without increasing its stats. At the moment, I do not want to enter the game knowing that there will be several BMPTs and BMPT-72s in every battle that will win the fight solo.
Autocanon tanks, all of them, evne the annoyingly strong ones like the 2S38, have a weakness. They are light tanks with little armour. Some are annoying to deal with in certain situations, but on open ground, a round to the body is penning and probably one shotting the tank.
BMPT is the polar opposite. It surpasses top tier MBTs in terms of survivability, whislt still maintaining one of the best autocanon setups in game and having ATGMs that can be fired whilst moving. Its a powerful combo that would be incredibly annoying even on something with 0 armour.
All we can hope for now, is that its BR gets increased again, up to a point where its reign of terror doesnt impact the lower BRs that still have issues facing
I find those shots are a roll of the dice. Ive had shots one shot them and ive had shots only kill the driver. That is providing I could fire before they opened first and I was blinded by the round impacts
It’s a skill learned over time man, it also helps shooting over hills n stuff, like sometimes youc an range find, then fire over the hill before the gunner barrely sight would let you.
can anyone please explain?
i hitted BMPT-72 from back, without almost damage, but than i tried simulate same shot and i am not able to get same result, that hit should always kill it
To play devil’s advocate here, I know and have seen the Terminator’s auto cannons bounce around a lot in the videos, but I want to know/see/data if these oscillations actually affect the accuracy that much. Weapons systems can be timed to account for these oscillations and the auto cannons might actually only be firing when they return to center.
Idk, I’m not saying that they are correct in game. But random videos showing a weapon bouncing around doesn’t prove that they are inaccurate. Maybe they are only more inaccurate in high fire rate mode? Maybe the BMPT’s cannons DO need to have their accuracy reduced for high fire rate mode, and you can only obtain perfect accuracy in low fire rate mode. An adjustment like that would probably satisfy a lot of players, at least partially with the current BMPT situation.
HOWEVER, just focusing on videos of the cannons bouncing, with no other evidence, isn’t going to get anything changed. We need hard facts. Hard evidence. That is the only way to get them changed in game.
(NOTE: even a video showing the cannons hitting targets is NOT sufficient according to Gaijin’s current standards. I am not saying I agree with these standards, but again, random videos are NOT going to get anything changed.)
If anyone has, or has seen, UNCLASSIFIED documentation for the BMPT/BMPT-72’s auto cannon accuracy, please submit them as a bug report.
We have info stating that in high RoF mode for these cannons their dispersion is abysmal. The barrel wobble is just a very clear video indicator of why their dispersion is poor when firing at max RoF.
