You might as well just say stop playing the game lol, I grinded out SE only to inevitably end right back up in the BMPT issue, I have all the time in the world and only have interest in playing GB/JP/SE which are all sat with the BMPT problem. Now lets consider the avg joe who wants to play his favoured nation and is perhaps in the 11.0 bracket that he’s slowly grinded for months on end only able to allot 3 hours a day due to his work schedule, and now his only option is to start fresh elsewhere, play Air battles, or sit at a lower BR in tanks they don’t enjoy to avoid the most current glaring issue.
War Thunder wants the average joe to spend money or get out 😭. I can see it if someone is wanting to finish a tree but I believe like most people you will end up leaving the game if they can’t fix or or just start the whole grind in Russia which is the worst grind for tanks I’ve seen.

Yes, but this is software with pixels 😭 there’s no camping needed. I still remember when they added modification grinds people were pissed.
It’s more to do with the fact that I don’t have to deal with the Bias™, although my short experience with the T-80 family of tanks tells me that there isn’t any so far.
It’s more like “There’s that dude that comes and buys all the sugar in my cafe to give himself a sugar rush, making all other customers drink bitter coffee. And he’s diabetic! But you know what, starting next month I’ll replace all the sugar in this place with dextrose IV bags just for this guy, seems like a viable strategy.”

Create free game, complain to players it can’t run for free??? gets mad a players when not spending enough money, add BS modification grinds (the fk i need things a tank was built with), unbreakable timed events during a working week (use ge to complete task for 1k)

The only bias I saw when grinding Russia was new player skill level. Russian tanks are easy to kill if you know maps and where to shoot a new player will hit “W” die and come here saying Russias too Strong or Tigers too Strong and vice versa. Playing Japan now bottom up I forget how annoying a Jumbo is from USA
Jesus, that also feels like taking a jab at players who freeload (also sweaty) the server and never buy premiums, but they are sweaty enough to push away new players (or casual players) because sweaty play takes the fun out of casual experiences bro lol
It’s more to do with RU having the most reliable armour and fuel tank setup to reliably eat rounds with the only one even remotely worth mentioning above them being the strv122b+, which has its biggest weak point literally sat on its face, the breach, which falls apart from a sneeze (Breach turret ring first to go almost every time) Everyone else has to aim for the smallest LFP model, or the even smaller viewport, while RU can aim anywhere on anyone else, eve through many faceplates, and kill/ammo rack errbody, while everyone else has the exact same weakpoints + 27 others. Now couple this with RU being the most heavy player faction and you can multiply the experience of nonsense X11 compared to any other nations, it comes as no surprise there’d be more complaints and such.
Most of the maps being flat somewhat negate the lack of depression they have to deal with, there’s a few hilly maps but very minor compared to the gaping flat field maps, the only drawback is that reverse speed, sure your top out is 60kph, but they’ve got fast acceleration to reach it quicker, beating out my Type10 even though it’s 10kph faster because of that accel alone.
That’s the guy who comes into your coffee shop uses your wifi and has his own coffe. But you don’t kick him out because he MIGHT buy something
War thunder has frustration amplifiers in to coax these avg joes into buying premium tanks or time to progress faster, each person is still a potential sale and therefor profit even if it comes a year into their gameplay, they want them around for that and total player count, which most assuredly matters in the grand scheme.

Didn’t they model the Trunnion in some Russian tanks making it impossible to breach 💀 I’ve seen topics showing other tanks having it but Gajin doesn’t add it.
EDIT: looks like China, Russia, and some Merkavas have it there might be more but it helps
